I somewhat agree as much as I like Figgy I think it all depends on how far the Angels go in the playoffs this year. If they go far he'll stay if they are gone after the division series I think Wood will get his shot.

I can handle the last pitch that was called a ball. But when Green tried to hold his swing earlier and the first base ump said no swing. Thats the one that sucked the most, if you looked at Greens face he knew he had swung through it and the replay shows the bat clearly crossed home plate.

Well according to this article these guys are making $350 a day which is over $40 an hour which is a pretty high wage for a vendor. Especially when you can hire in kids at half that price they will always go with the least expensive.

I'm hoping we get the Sox in the first round, time to lay those demons to rest. If it's the Yanks and the Angels in the ALCS that would be a great matchup. I'd still have to give the nod to the Angels based on how we've played the Yanks over the last few years and I know the Yanks are good if they are tied after the 7th inning but then again I think we have the most come from behind victories in the league which means alot in the playoffs. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Come on J. Cy you gotta do better then that. Our speed is still there as evident by the most times from 1st to 3rd in the league. Our bullpen isn't as strong but look at the lineup, I'd be a little worried just because of all the runs we score. It's just a 8th and 9th inning pitcher don't carry a team.

Unfortunately in this day and age when it comes to baseball and steroids you are guilty till proven innocent.
