Ray Allen cannot guard his position any longer period!!!! He is a liability on the floor unless he is being used as 1st or second scoring option. He's not a starter. Please Ray leave Boston if your on the fence please!!!!! Your from CT, your mommy comes to every game, there offering you double the money in Boston... Just sign the contract already.... Your not leaving just alienating the fans that though you cared about Boston... He's as soft as the stuff in my babies diaper.... 6million a year for a guy that can't even get his own shot anymore... Boston fans stop begging Ray to come back and put someone on the floor that can actually guard a shooting guard please!!!!

Brandon Bass is a defensive liability playing power forward period!!!! Without KG helping out on D in the middle someone like Brandon Bass turns into a less then average power forward. He has big games and then disappears he is not consistent... He will get his 4yrs 30 million but he is not an answer on team trying to build, he's an offensive player who is valuable on a contender only that lacks offense.....

No question Ray Allen can still play.... But he's not worth 10 million on any contenders team at 39 and 40, due to the cap. I'm a Celtics fan... We want Ray back at 5 million per... Not a penny more.... You can get a lot for 5 million per these days in the NBA
