Blessed with such immense talent, it's too bad he blessed with an equal amount of selfishness and those opposing factors will always lead to great individual performances coupled with disappointing endings for the team he plays on.

No coach that's intent on winning will take on Favre at this stage in his career. In addition to his carelessness with the ball, he's only going to be around for one-more year. Then the coach would need to begin the rebuilding process and with that kind of pressure in NY, it's not the best way to go.
