For some unknown reason, GolTv has only broadcast one Madrid game and 3 Barca games so far this year. If you have the opportunity to broadcast the defending treble winners and the most expensive and interesting team assembled, why on earth would you show Osasuna v. Getafe?????

Thoughts on the Union's selections in today's expansion draft? I have to be honest, I'm not sure exactly what to make of it. My initial reaction after seeing some of the names on there is that it's an odd mix. I'm having a hard time figuring out what their identity/style will be as opposed to the Sounders where it was pretty evident what their intentions were.

First of all, for you to refer to Tapatio as "hot sauce" is kind of like referring to the Mona Lisa as "some ugly unibrowed broad". Tapatio, in my humble opinion, is God's gift to humanity. A heavenly concoction of flavors and spices which simply brings out the beauty of all items. If it works with a microwaved Costco burrito, just imagine the possibilities with dog junk.

What is a bit depressing is that the CL Final has really become more a war of attrition in most cases. Teams are clearly more afraid to get scored on than they are of not scoring themselves. I would love to see the officials tighten up in the midfield and encourage there to be more of a free flowing game again. That's not a dig at any club or league, because there is plenty of ugly soccer played across the continent. Ok, I am going to take a dig at two clubs, Inter and Chelsea are the incarnation of evil in this respect. I would have said the same about Juve until the last couple of years.

If we're really that concerned with potentially being embarrassed, than what chance do we have a few months later? I'd much rather they go in, find out where they truly stand against a team that will at least contend and make the necessary tactical adjustments.

That is one of the things that I do respect about Milan. One of my friends backs Barca and made a big deal out of the fact that Madrid won't win the Copa del Rey this year. Now the WAY that we went out was a facking disgrace, but in all honesty, not winning the cup and not winning the treble is meaningless to us. I could care less if we finish last in La Liga if we bring home #10 at the Bernabeu this year. Now that may or may not happen, but so long as we refuse to be satisfied with lesser cups and titles, we'll get things straightened out sooner rather than later. You don't win 9 CL titles settling.

I have to agree, there really wasn't even an attempt at the ball on that, just a careless hip check. After that, it seemed like he was going out of his way to avoid calling any contact whatsoever. On the play the Buddle got whistled for his judo throw on the RSL defender (can't recall who it was), Edson had endured about 30 seconds of the type of physical molestation that is usually reserved for junior hockey players.
