pacquiao at 130 lbs fighting floyd at 147? 3 weight divisions between them? that's like floyd fighting at super middleweight!
so what do you say about floyd not fighting super middleweights? floyd wont even dare fight at middleweight. he wont even fight true welterweights!
when floyd was fighting judah, dlh and hatton, pacquiao was fighting at 130 lbs.

That's just the way tennis rankings work. You defend your ranking points you earned from the previous year. Not exactly perfect but it's the same for everybody. It's not as if the rankings is favoring one player over the other.
You're a Roger fan? or a tennis fan?
every top team in Europe always have a chance to beat other top teams.
and the Italian teams, they have the most championships+runner-ups in champions league. Milan have 2 CL trophies this decade and 1 runner-up.
the underachieving country in CL is France.
because the suns best players(nash, amare, richardson, barbosa) are better suited to a fast paced game.
they added shaq, a good but Old defensive player and they lost two good defensive players in marion and bell. it's clear the current team is incapable of a 180 degree turnaround. they changed their whole system because of shaq who plays very few minutes and doesn't play back to back games.
they were a 90% offense 10% defense team and by just adding shaq(and losing marion, bell) steve kerr still expected them to be a 50% offense 50% defense team in a span of one season?
Even though the suns know that Amare is not the franchise player and future leader they expected him to be, it's still best to keep him. can't believe there was even a trade scenario with yi jianlian!
In my opinion, Jameer definitely deserve to be there but the questionable one is Rashard. Rashard's a great player but Hedo's the one who's putting bigger shots eve though Lewis is the better shooter.
I would have put Hedo or Mo or Ray Allen before Rashard.
the choices should be around 10-16 legitimate players per conference. No Bruce Bowens, Samuel Dalemberts, Yi Jianlians...
Rashard, A.I(voted as a starter) and Shaq are the "questionable" ones, in my opinion. Shaq is having a good year but he sits down on the 2nd game of back to backs.
don't feel bad Mo, just keep doing what you've been doing. hey the Jazz have no representative. Steve Nash who plays for the host didn't got in(probably because of the inclusion of Shaq). Al Jeff who's playing a fantastic year didn't got in.
Dallas needs a post player to complement Dirk and Terry. Every leading contender(probably with the exception of cleveland) have an inside-outside combos. kobe-gasol,bynum. duncan, manu, tony. garnett, allen, pierce. dwight-hedo,rashard,jameer. nash-shaq,amare etc.
If Dallas have a decent big, Dirk will have a field day in the perimeter.
it's more common to see boxers on a mma match.
przybilla's 6ppg 8rpg 1.5bpg 81%FG
vs
oden's 8ppg 8rpg 1.5bpg 51%FG.
for someone hyped to be the next bill russell he's only putting up joel przybilla's numbers.
granted he's only a rookie, still he should do better than joel.
oden's doing fine. the problem is the media overhyped him. i cringe when i see replays of the "nba roundtable" with all the great centers around him. russell, d.robinson, pat ewing, walton etc.
with all that hype, he better put up better numbers than emeka okafor, who's a career 14 pts, 11 rebs and 2 blocks guy, who got to the nba without anyone saying he'll be the next bill russell or the next patrick ewing or the next mourning.
and also indiana's "success" this year can also be attributed to the rise of danny granger and not just the "consistent" play of ford.
calderon is a rock solid point guard. not your typical flashy point guard but he gets the job done and makes his teammates trust him. he's currently averaging career highs in points, assists, rebounds, freethrow and 3 %.
this is hilarious.
Nash who led phoenix to a 54-28 record without Amare in 05-06
Pippen who led Chicago to a 55-27 record without Jordan in '93-94
Wade who carried Miami single handedly in the nba finals against dallas.
they're overrated?
Amare is still young and might accomplish more in the future. he's good the last 4-5 years but Nash was the Suns best player the whole time.
how did dallas do after nash left? pretty much the same as the suns.
dallas were 58, 60, 67, 51. west semis, nba finals, 1st round, 1st round.
phoenix were 62, 54, 61, 55. west finals, west finals, west semis, 1st round.
and the time dallas reached the nba finals? they beat the suns 4-2 in the west finals who were without Amare.
with barkley they were 62-20 and reached the nba finals.
you said it yourself, amare's numbers are down this year. that's because of the decline of Nash. without Amare Nash did just fine and averaged career in high in scoring. Amare goes were nash goes. but Nash, without Amare is still Nash.
your first post sounded like Phoenix needed Amare more than Nash. without amare the suns had their best finish since Barkley and KJ. if nash were the one who got injured, it would have been a disaster.
i love KJ but he had Barkley, probably the 3rd best PF in history.
you take KJ. i take Nash.
the warriors are lucky they have a very patient and unselfish Center in Biedrins.
Steve Nash and the Suns did just fine without Amare in 05-06. They finished as the no.2 seed in the west and hey they even reached the conference finals.
he's ONLY averaged double digit assists in 4 seasons? and that's a bad thing? ONLY 4?
how many point guards actually average double digit assists in a season?
aside from magic, stockton and oscar robertson, can you name one point guard who had at least 5 seasons with double digit assists per game in a season?
it's not fair to fire theus with the assembly of players he have. but when things are going bad the coach is always the first to go. eddie jordan did a phenomenal job in washington and when the team piled losses because of the injuries he got fired.
