Earl Campbell, a Jim Brown throwback on a team with little support, another victim of inflated stats, Tony D. Like Emmitt is a product of one of the best lines of his era. OJ.....too much alleged stabbiness to push him forward.
Lots of people out there who could qualify. I just like my guys I that order. Got to give some respect to the throwbacks and the current guys. Always remember the guys you grew up with the best.
Quasi lame excuses for personal preferences, bu aren't most top ten lists like this?
Did that just to irk my son who worships at the feet of Ladanian. I'm a huge raiders fan and Ithink Bo was better than Marcus. In the what if category, imagine Bo playing 16 games a year and not having to share with Marcus on 1 st or 2nd down. Marcus comes in on 3rd and long, while Bo moves to fullback. Now imagine Bo's numbers and his impact on the team and the league. Bo gained almost as many yards as Marcus in his four years, in half the carries!
1) Jim Brown- did it first, did it best, quit at his peak, did it with little support and lots of opposition. 2) Sweetness- nickname says it all. 3) Bo- neve a full season (baseball) career ending injury in his prime, had to share ball w/ Marcus! 4) Barry Sanders- more moves than Exlax. 5) Emmit- numbers don't lie but they do deceive, my mom could gain 60 a game behind that Oline! 6) Marshall- complete package like Walter, right place, right time, right system kind of back. 7) Red Grange- played both ways, did it all, even started own league to pi$$ off owners. 8) Gayle Sayers- sweetness before Sweetness. Like Bobby Orr, born too soon, arthroscopic surgery! 9) tyrell Davis- career too short, results needed to be bigger to move higher on the list. 10) Chris Johnson- seemed on track to be a beast, blip to start this year?????
What a waste of time. Who cares who votes for whom. I am on the NHL threads most days but I voted against Schad on this because Palmer most certainly doesn't suck. The D played weak in the last 10 minutes of the game. O not to blame for that. Just need to beat KC and then go for the div title on Jan1. JUST WIN BABY!
