u r probably right: (a) CW could be going to Cleveland as an Asst; (b) the "coach-list" is probably short (kelly, urban, ???); (c) nothing to do with Stanford game as ND will not win; and (d) its already been rumored that CW was seen this AM at a local South Bend "All-U-Can-Eatery" at an elongated table with his assistants, lawyers and Financial Advisor -adding upto 12 -) having what can only be viewed as "The Last Supper!" ha!

Growing up in the forties and fifties in OH among the BUCKEYES and hating MICHIGAN and living next door to the 1951 Heisman Trophy winner from Princeton, Dick Kazmaeier, I was and have been a subway DOMER! Those were the days!!! Recent history has not been kind to us! What is sad though, is that the "talent is now there," but..... where is ND??? I don't see them quickly rising to the top, but it's gotta start somewhere....

Now that would be awesome.... I remember the mid to late '80's and 90's when the it was a great series. Keep in the traditional Navy, BC, Michigan State and Purdue along with a couple of others, and it would be a great 12 game schedule.

me too (huh)2..... why don't we just play football without all the circus hoopla and at least make an attempt to return to the glory days! My wish (as a life-long-dedicated-subway-domer) would be (and has been) to see ND in the Big Ten (but then it would probably have to split into two divisions). Living in A2 has always made this a "bar room" discussion with my buddies second only to CW's "career" at ND. Oh well, let's see what they can do this year with a "soft" schedule............
