As a football fan, Brian Dawkins, in my eyes, is and always will be one of the hardest hitting (albeit questionably late on more than one occasion (sometimes per game)) Safeties with a tremendous passion and heart for the game. I'd take him on my team at 36 yrs old in a heartbeat.

As a Giants fan - I'm glad to see him find his way out of the NFC East.

Remember when everyone questioned why JR was letting Luke P go as a FA? - worked out pretty well, right? The front office of the Giants knows what's best for the team (been over a decade and a half that I've been able to say that w/ a straight face) - they'll do the right thing.
