As an A's fan, I'm glad he did turn it down. The A's really do not need a SS. Crosbys' biggest hangup is injuries. I know that is a HUGE deal but, the A's need a quality, established, starter. They need to score more runs, inturn, they need a bat (or two). The A's have been dealing with Crosby and his issues for a while now. While I agree they need to get a SS, Crosby will do, for now.

The 3rd team will be the A's. The Cubs need mid relief. The A's need a quality starter. I can't say what the Padres need but the A's can give the Cubs what they need.
