The rule is stupid. Players should be able to go pro out of high school, your not protecting them your hurting them. I think the rule hurts both the NBA and NCAA. Get rid of the rule

Even if it was by accident, which it probably was, he didn't have to act macho and say **** after to CQ. If you wanna act tough, then don't complain when someone tries to make you back up your words. All thos saying the batter has the opportunity to move out of the way if a pitch is thrown at them, yes well the pitcher had the opertunity to get out of he way or go back by his teammates when the batter was charging. As long as baseball allows this police yourself policy, and everyone needs to act mocho this will continue. He shouldn't be suspended more then 5 games, I don't care how long Greinke is out. If his pitch hits a batter in the wrist or somewhere that cause injury that keeps the batter out, nobody ever calls for the pitcher to sit out as long as the batter

Who do you foresee playing LB for the bears then? Not like they have guys in waiting, and they are probably going to lose Roach too. He's not hall of faker Brian urlacher, but he's not a dead weight either. They just lost Lovie, Rod, and soon to be more defensive veterans.. He's not going to cost much and the familiarity and experience he will bring during a coaching overhaul is an added bonus.

The Marlins have 2 recent world series...all the other teams with 2 rings lately are considered great franchises. How many other teams would kill for those results?

There is no one way to run baseball team. We have seen teams spend and fail. People are really freaking out about an owner blowing apart a last place team? I would rather have peaks and valleys then year after year of mediocrity. You dont just trade Stanton for nothing, but if you can get 2 players who may not be on his level now but have the potential to be ....why not?

All those saying **** Loria let Cuban buy the team...why? I like Cuban too. But throwing money around doesn't win a championship..just ask last years team

Did they really just mention John Danks as a possible trade target for the Yankees? Who would the Yankees trade for Danks? He's the Sox best pitcher and future #1, plus he's young.

This trade wouldn't make sense if the sox weren't even trying to go for it all this year. Like the Sox are going to go out and spend that much money and just let Danks go. No Danks = No playoffs = no sense trade

They will not unload a starter, it just doesn't make sense. Who knows what Peavy is going to do with his health concerns, so theirs no way they trade away another one of the starters. Sale is needed in the bullpen and possibly a fill in for peavy so he's not going anywhere. They thought about trading people (TCQ), but kenny didn't like the value he would get back ; so Jerry provided more money to spend. Unloading a starter would still have the payroll high, and would take away any advantage they now have in the division.
