Still like better a trade for Jenks (White Sox) giving up all the necessary pitchers from the bullpen (which sucks!!!). Like a trade with the Sox including Jenks, Dye and Vazquez. Mostly, will solve three problems at once! Of course, they will finish second, one game behind whoever wanted to be there (phillys or marlins)...

For the Mets Perspective, they should put over the table a deal for the three of them (Jenks, Vazquez and Dye). It will help hugely their needs (Power Outfilder, Power Right Hander, Closer and a 4th or 5th Starting Pitcher with acceptable numbers). They should give to the Sox anyone from the bullpen they want outside Johan, Maine and Pelfrey. From the young prospects, they should be willing to give at least one. But knowing the Mets, they will finish the 2009 season with 10 losses in a row one game behind either Philly or the Marlins.
