I'm not sure I understand why this is a big deal. It's one thing to say that pitchers use this combination to get a grip on the ball. It's another to say that pitchers are leaving this substance on the ball to affect the spin.
If Buchholz is putting something on the ball, the umpire can stop play, look at the ball, and toss him if he is. Other than that, I don't understand what is being defined here as cheating. Sounds like a bunch of news media need something to talk about.
On a separate note, I think Dwight's become the A-Rod of the NBA. Tries way too hard to be liked. Does dumb things that make him appear incredibly arrogant. Forced a trade from a team where he was liked to a major market team. Subsequently lost fan support of his original team (because he left) and never got it on the new team (because the team is obsessed with winning and can't stand him under-performing his contract.)
Only things missing are a photo of him kissing himself and Dwight Howard entry in Anthony Bosch's journals!
That being said, in last year's playoffs, he shot 39% from floor, 30% from 3 and 70% FTs. having watched Allen the last few years, they'll have to severely limit his minutes in regular season.
Seeing as the Celtics overachieved last year, I think Ray "standing alone in the corner" was the best move. But I guess some guys will do whatever it takes to win and others won't.
It's not even a joke. A-Rod loves really muscular women, like the ones you see in muscle mags. He's always being photographed with muscle-bound women coming in and out of gyms on the road. Some even made the cover of the NY Post when he was married.
Are you saying nobody's argued that they haven't performed consistently or that nobody hasn't argued that.... never mind. I'm just confused by this whole statement.
Of course not, the talking heads are so used to gushing over Belichick and Brady that they are ignoring what they see on the field. They still love the Saints, too.
BTW - Nice to see you can use Photoshop. Maybe that'll translate into a job skill.

Unlike others here, I stick with one handle. Not sure who Hella is.
Please stick to pictures.
