Posted Thursday February 13, 2014, About: Pats adding Lombardi, role TBD
I was wondering who would be the first to play this card.

He does have three, though. yet I think it was the good Mr. Lombardi who picked 'Touchdown' Tommy Vardell. You remember that one, right?
Posted Friday August 09, 2013, About: Belichick to Tebow: 'Be ready'
Be ready to play...or be cut. It could go either way.
Posted Friday June 21, 2013, About: Special teams coach felt Kluwe had to go
Have to agree -- this is likely about punting and nothing else. I don't think they gave a rat's **** about what came out of his mouth, only what came off his foot.
Posted Monday June 03, 2013, About: Raiders fire PR director over unflattering story
Just when you thought that things would finally change...
Posted Friday May 10, 2013, About: Woodson surprised at lack of offers
I agree, someone will sign him by the end of the NFL preseason, just watch.
Posted Tuesday April 09, 2013, About: Rosenhaus: Reports on Gronkowski are 'way off'
How could anyone predict he would break the arm again like that? He was cleared to play and football players play football, so he wouldn't have sat on my bench either.

Now what he does when he isn't on the football field is another discussion entirely. It has nothing to do with a broken arm or an infection, but everything to do with conditioning. That's mainly where my questions are.
Posted Tuesday April 09, 2013, About: Scouts: Andre Smith 'highly overrated'
They try to and that's one of the reasons that Welker is in Denver today. They call it 'incentives'.
Posted Tuesday March 19, 2013, About: No interest in free agent James Harrison
You mean you're hoping to not see him. Ozzie wouldn't touch this guy.
Posted Tuesday March 19, 2013, About: No interest in free agent James Harrison
There's better options out there. The Steelers know what they are doing with their personnel.
You're right -- someone will overpay for these three.

Michael Turner was a solid signing for them from San Diego, but didn't have a good season in 2012, while Abraham never could stay on the field and Robinson was expendable. This was a smart move by the team on several levels.
Posted Friday March 01, 2013, About: Jets close to deal with David Garrard
He could be better than anything they have right now.
Posted Friday March 01, 2013, About: Will Tyrann Mathieu be drafted by the Patriots?
Ah, but everyone loves a turn-around story and success after abysmal failure. It's fairy tale stuff.

You can bet if this guy is there where the Pats have him on their board, they will pull the trigger. He may not be Ty Law, but he's likely better than anything they have right now and IF this guy wants to change his life, NE would be the place to do it.
Posted Friday March 01, 2013, About: Revis in New England?
I'm sorry, I just don't see it.

Besides, if McCourty stays at Free Safety, they need somone in center field that can put the hammer on 'em and it's not Woodson. Steve Gregory is doing that now (whiffing), for Pete's sake.

Very well done and I couldn't agree more.
Posted Thursday February 28, 2013, About: Chiefs acquire Alex Smith from 49ers
Good point. At least he hasn't been hit in some time.
Posted Thursday February 28, 2013, About: Chiefs acquire Alex Smith from 49ers
Really good point, but remember, none of them truly excelled. Reid, however, knows offense and the QB position. Donovan McNabb looked great under Reid, but awful everywhere else.
Posted Wednesday February 27, 2013, About: Chiefs acquire Alex Smith from 49ers
I wonder which Alex Smith unpacks his suitcase in Kansas City - the pre-Harbaugh or post-Harbaugh version? Just sayin'.
Posted Wednesday February 27, 2013, About: Brady's deal hurts teammates
He plays the sideline or bench position. Particularly at the worst times possible.
Posted Wednesday February 27, 2013, About: Brady's deal hurts teammates
I first saw the caption, then I saw who the author was and everything became crystal clear.
Posted Wednesday February 27, 2013, About: Patriots' Demps wants to play in NFL and run track
I wasn't aware that track stars made that much money.

Considering that he spent the NFL season on IR, maybe he should pick one and stick with that, but I just digress.
Posted Wednesday February 27, 2013, About: Jones: Ryan's defense was too complicated
If only Jerry would fire himself, now they could get somewhere.
