My guess is these comments weren't just said randomly and out of the blue...

Why does the media ask questions and rehash old stuff, then criticize (and entice fans to criticize) a player for giving a true personal opinion. I guess it's below Warner to lie and make up a PC answer instead of shooting from the hip.

I seriously don't think that his answer to a media question on Tuesday has him concentrating any less to the task at hand any less than thinking about what to order for dinner on Wednesday took his mind off the gameplan for the Steelers.

You're either a walk-on or scholarship, there are no walk-on scholarships. If your saying Miami recruits the better athletes and lately the coaches haven't been able to do anything with them, I agree. Marve in point.

Mack Brown CAN'T vote Tx #1... All coaches are forced to vote the winner of the BCS Championship game as #1. Goes for the Utah coach and his comment from Saturday night about him voting his team #1. Can't do it!!!

That was a good game to watch, but TX was not that impressive considering they had a one-dimensional offense (amazing what your forced to do when you play a team with a defense) and playing against a team that you just have to keep the QB contained because he can't throw worth a hoot.

Was reading Chizik's bio in the Iowa St media guide... Gene Chizik was the man. From the moment Iowa State athletics director Jamie Pollard began a search for a new head football coach in 2006, Chizik was at the top of Pollard???s list of potential candidates. He wasn???t alone. Everyone wanted Gene Chizik. It was no surprise, then, that improvement of the Cyclone football program in its first year under Chizik was immediate. Chizik???s first ISU team beat rival Iowa and made steady progress throughout the season. Iowa State closed out the 2007 home season with wins over Kansas State and bowl-bound Colorado, affirming the major advances the Cyclones made on both sides of the ball. Iowa State fans embraced Chizik. Cyclone backers bought a school-record 36,000 season tickets in 2007 and posted the school???s best home game attendance average (49,462) since 1982. A school-record 56,795 fans packed Jack Trice Stadium for last season???s game against Northern Iowa.

Probably not, shows his class and interest in the kid... I remember when the Gators let Brock Berlin transfer to UM, he wasn't happy so the heck with him. Let him go where he wants to go. He was a bigger prospect than this Marve dude.
As for tampering, the Gators have more important things on their plate right now.
