Posted Saturday July 19, 2008, About: Did Manny strike out on purpose?
It's something I wouldn't put past him. In fact, when it happened I turned to a friend and said "I bet he did that to show the Sox executives up."

What a ****-tacular man. And I am a Sox fan. Manny being Jackass should be his new slogan.
Posted Thursday May 29, 2008, About: Cowboys' Newman rips teammate Williams
Truth and Rumors is meant to start drama. Multiple people have said they heard the interview and that it wasn't as bad as it seems in the context of the whole conversation. This is just a way to get people stirred up and continue the Cowboy soap opera the media loves. Roy Williams can't cover? He had a bad year? Gasp! Did Newman say that the sun rises in the morning too? Will the sun be upset? Stay tuned!
Posted Tuesday May 27, 2008, About: Owens to Raiders in 2009?
Randy Moss worked out pretty well in Oakland...oh, wait...
Posted Monday March 31, 2008, About: Character concerns for McFadden?
A word to the wise, whoever is foolish enough to buy into this character assassination will be paying for it by being on the other end of many TDs.
Posted Wednesday January 30, 2008, About: Plaxico predicts Giants win
Wow, a player predicting a win..in a Super Bowl! That's novel. If only we had seen this before. Wait...who's this Joe Namath character?
Posted Friday July 20, 2007, About: Rockets to deal Alston, Lucas
I am a fan of Skip to my Lou but with the additions of Brooks, Francis, and James it is time to send him packing. The Rockets are making some good moves, even if I don't like the signing of Francis.
Posted Saturday July 07, 2007, About: Oden: 10 fouls in pro debut
Oden will learn to stay out of foul trouble. While it's fun to see the buzz generate it is far too soon to make a judgment of Oden or Durant. ESPN had a headline that said summer fizzle. Give me a break. Yao Ming didn't score a single point in his NBA debut. Last time I checked he was doing okay with an average of 25 points and over 10 rebounds. Let's not wet our pants quite yet over the early returns of these two.
Posted Thursday June 21, 2007, About: Source: Celtics closer to acquiring KG
KG nixed the trade talk. The source is wrong.
Posted Saturday June 09, 2007, About: Noah: 'I hated Michael Jordan'
Noah isn't saying he wouldn't love to play for the Bulls. He was a Knicks fan so he understandably hated Jordan. Why wouldn't you hate your arch-rival, especially if it is a player who kills your favorite team's dreams of a title every year? But it's not like he would turn down a roster spot on the Bulls. He isn't stupid.

Noah may not be a great player in the NBA but he has a lot of heart and displayed a lot more maturity than most college players when he came back to win a second NCAA title. Give the guy a break.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2007, About: Horry claims Nash 'flopped'
I bet Horry was trying to take a charge also when he threw a towel in his coach's face when he played for the Suns huh? Someone should tell the Fresh Prince of Bel Air lookalike to shut his mouth. He isn't even on the same level as Nash in terms of a quality player. Maybe he can wash Nash's jock while he sits at home in game 6 or learn to perfect the "Who me?!?!" look that Bruce Bowen, Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan, and the rest of the wanna be World Cup soccer players that are the Spurs. The Spurs have way too much talent to be crying for calls. Play the game and shut up.
Posted Tuesday May 15, 2007, About: Did Amare leave Suns bench?
Man, how are all of you not involved in the throwdown part of the FanNation community? A ton of you make excellent arguments. While I agree that the Spurs are absolutely the dirtiest team in the NBA at the moment the fact of the matter is IF Amare left the bench to join the melee then he is by rule supposed to be suspended for one game. I don't remember what year it was but there was a huge fight between the Knicks and the Heat that if I recall correctly led to the suspension of a ton of players for the deciding game of the series because so many came onto the floor. Having said that deep down I want Amare to stay in so we can have what continues to be a compelling and exciting series. Suns in 7 I hope!
Posted Thursday April 26, 2007, About: Schilling's bloody sock a PR hoax?
How is this news YEARS after it happened? Like Schilling or not the man pitched a **** of a game and his guts were what got into the heads of the Yankees, not some bloody sock. If the Yanks WERE affected by it, real or not, then that is a testament to the weakness of them as a team. They had more to worry about other than the sock, like say performing the biggest choke job aside from the Houston Oilers vs. Buffalo Bills in the playoffs in 92-93. (I put that in there so ya all know as A Houston fan that I am not here to just rip the Yanks. haha.)

Schilling is a loudmouth and maybe this all is a P.R. stunt, but guess what? We sure are talking about it. And he STILL can pitch. Socks don't win games for you, but tough SOX do. har har har.
