Hey, it's your friendly neighborhood moderator here. Just wanted to check in and comment on your post. Sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the way things have been on the site. That said, we are keeping an eye on the website. Occasionally things slip us for a bit but I assure you there is a lot more spam and trash on the site that gets taken down immediately than you know. Yes, we're hear to clean up the site but we're also human. Sometimes it takes a while to get the site completely clean. Part of that comes in a checks and balances format where members alert us to inappropriate content, and we really appreciate when you and others do that. Part of that is simply a matter of time, as we comb the desert of the site. The point is that we do care and are staying aware of what's going on.

As we're employees of the site, I can understand wanting to point the finger at us but the fact is that we get just as frustrated by spammers as you do. I started here as a member who regularly blogged and did Throwdowns. I can't stand Dupes or spammers. It doesn't mean I don't make errors from time to time. So thank you in advance for being patient and understanding in what we're doing, and thank you for continuing to be a member of the community.

Interesting throwdown idea. As long as everyone avoided disparaging other members it could work. I didn't know there a recent TD concerning me. Haven't done one in ages.

No, the site isn't perfect but all sites carries certain challenges. I assure you that we care a lot about your opinions. I actually am one of the members who have been on a long time and used to compete in TD's a ton, along with blogging. So it means a lot to me personally to make sure you all enjoy the site. We will take it down and delete the poster ASAP. I assure you there is no financial relationship between us and spammers. It's annoying to have to track down these threads but it's our job. :)

Derrick Rose is not the best point guard in the game. I know it's a matter of opinion but Williams, Chris Paul and a few others have earned that right ahead of Rose.
