One.....one NASCAR driver presents himself valiantly, and you hoist him above the ''who keeps track'' of everyday hero's from all walks of life, stories that go mostly unreported. (Never mind the doctors, police, firemen, soldiers, teachers, etc., etc., etc. that are unrecognized heros day in and day out.)

I've been attending racing, all types, since I was three years old. I also received a scholarship to attend the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, and I still appreciate art and artists, encluding live theater.

By attempting to divide NASCAR fans from what you seem to infer are more intellectual activities, you re-inforce the very stereotype you act as though you want to achieve distance from.

How charming.

I HATE THE CHASE...

and so do many, many NASCAR fans. What's left of them.

So let me struggle to understand this. The Chase was created due to the concerns created when ''One-Win'' Matt Kenseth took the Championship crown in 2003, over 8-win Ryan Newman. (Who finished sixth.)

In effect then, one season of discontent, leads to the wholesale change, otherwise known as The Chase.

Now we have Jimmie Johnson, winner of 5 STRAIGHT CHASE FORMAT CHAMPIONSHIPS, out of seven Chase format opportunities.

Nothing against the 48 Team, but ah, yeah.....I'm guessing that some changes need to be made.

I sure was disappointed, (but not surprised), that Faux stopped training the cameras on Nolan Cryan, and Gee Dubya after the Giants took the lead. I love to see those arrogant smirks turned into petulant frowns!
