The point is that he and many other closers are look-at-me j-o's with a very contrived approach. I didn't see Romo acting like him when the Giants won last year. Doesn't need to be this way. That's all.

Maybe this will help him get over himself. The whole irreverent closer "mentality" is very tired and Wilson is at the top of the list with Paps and others. Rivera never needed a wacky beard or an alter ego to get things done. Go out and do your job.
