I hope it happens. What Rose did when he was a manager shouldn't reflect on what he did as a player. It's not as if anything he did as a manager will even be considered if he's on the ballot. This is a travesty that Bud needs to end once and for all. I think Pete and everyone else learned their lesson.

What a dork this Girardi character is. How many Yankees have thrown at hitters this season? 6? How dare this fraud complain about it when his pitchers make a regular habit out of such things. 12 RED SOX hitters have been hit by Yankees this season as opposed to 3 Yankees...and that includes the A-Rod hit last time out.
This guy is a joke and belongs managing that joke of a team.

Yeah sure. Given the Yankees crummy starting pitching & bull pen they probably won't even make the post season.
1 more Yankee pitching injury and they're done. ZERO depth.
The only thing even letting them keep pace with the RED SOX is a disgustingly easy schedule and playing in Whiffle Ball stadium a.k.a. Coors Field East.
We'll see how good they look after their 3 West coast trips down the stretch.

To believe and take serious this article you have to believe the RED SOX are run by a bunch of bumblers who throw darts to make decisions.

They set a price for Teixiera..they were told the Yankees were going to get a chance to bid...they stood by their price...Teixeira took the most money. No shocker.
Getting into a bidding war with the Yankees is stupid.
If they believe Bay is a guy they need they will retain him otherwise they will have a contigency plan.
It's not like he's a SS or something...

Which story is this week? He was a Yankee fan growing up or an Orioles fan? He idolized Eddie Murry or was it Don Mattingly?
What a fraud. It's pretty easy to see why this fake was booed in Baltimore and called a corporate ****. It's not because he's a Yankee, that's stupid, it's because he represents everything that's fake and phony about baseball. No matter what team he went to, whichever gave him the most $$$ weather it was Boston, NY or even Baltimore he would have always been a fan of team "X" growing up.
He's great player and will do well no matter what but he is as phony as they come (and not very good at hiding it) and if you ask me he's where he belongs...

He'll be mediocre for the season and then be shut down in AUG.

I think Jose had done a great service to the game with his admissions and subsequent attention that steroids in baseball got but when he starts throwing out names when he doesn't have any proof or (according to him) any knowledge at all is cheapening what he did for baseball and looks liike a cry for attention.

Yeah, I'm a little less than impressed when something like "hand signals" that any jerk who buys a ticket can see are the key to defeat a team. What a bunch of sour grape losers these people must be to even give that stuff a second thought. it's pretty obvious that they were out played and no video can give any team that big of an advantage. Look at the PATRIOTS 2007 season; they were fined and there was no chance they were filming anything and they went undefeated the whole season.
