Well good the thing is they actually play it out in college basketball. It wasn't a big ten loss or NCAA tourney loss. So it isn't earth shattering....and Butler is a good team.
Posted Tuesday July 24, 2012, About: Only way Cuban can lure Howard and Paul
You might be right they may not be what they have been for the last ten years. But these Nets fans are getting a bit too excited. There roster still is not very good. The Knicks suck too. It will be the ultimate funny if the patch work team Cuban put together this season has a better record than both of them!

Well let me say this for the 99.9 percent Americans who read this article. "Who the heck is Zack Parise?"
Posted Monday February 20, 2012, About: Officials giving Lin special treatment?
The reality is it is New York. If he played for Memphis it would be a nice story but nothing like this. But it's a good story so I have enjoyed watching it.
Posted Monday February 20, 2012, About: Officials giving Lin special treatment?
You need to read what he said. And if you watched the game he was right. The officials called a foul---rightly so but ruled it flagrant because the crowd went nuts. Lin undercut Kidd without a call. So yes its a great story and yes he is getting some calls. The call that hurt the Mavericks had nothing to do with Lin though. A shot clock violation occurs and they hit Nowitski with a loose ball foul then at the opposite end he get's killed without a call. But hey it's the NBA and the refs suck so most of us are used to it.
Posted Wednesday January 04, 2012, About: Brown giving Kobe too much freedom?
This is what I hate about the NBA. For some reason fans and media think the player should run things. Follow this and I'll talk slow so some of you can follow this. The owner hires a team president who hires a GM who hires the coach who supervises the players. If you want the player to run things and make him player coach. Tell Koby or whomever cash your $20 million dollar check and shut the crap up.
Posted Wednesday January 04, 2012, About: Winds of change leave Lovie in limbo
Weren't the Bears 7-3 before Cutler get's hurt, then they lose Forte? Lovie isn't where the blame should be laid. But as a coach I know everyone thinks somehow the head coach is always responsible. Mike Martz is more responsible for leaving Cutler under center and having him take seven step drops with terrible pass protection. And remember Martz wasn't really Lovie's choice. At least let him choose his coaching staff and have more personnel input then if he isn't successful you can place blame at his feet. But he has coached the Bears to the Super Bowl and two NFC Championships if I'm not mistaken. As a Dolphin fan I would gladly take that!
Posted Thursday June 16, 2011, About: Former MLB commish: Cuban 'a real problem' in NBA
Fay Vincent was a terrible MLB Commish. He is an old guard establishment kind of guy. There isn't one right way to do it. Cuban has the courage to criticize things when they aren't done above board like officiating and like the good old boy network. Stern is the same type of guy. Stern is regarded as this great commish. Reality is he benefited from ground work laid by Magic and Bird then came along Michael Jordan. If we had a better commissioner we might actually have consistent officiating and better on court player behavior. We wouldn't hype players ahead of teams. The 80s were Celtics vs Lakers first and Magic vs Bird second. Fay Vincent give me a break. You were horrible before and you are horrible now.

Yep you caught me! I actually believe in making business decisions based about ability!

If it were a left wing extremist as an investor everything would be A-Okay but if a right wing conservative wants to invest he can't do it. What happened to analyze whether a guy has the money and the financial savy to do the job. Who gives a rip about politics. The hypocracy amazes me.

I'm in for $100 to watch Shaq hit Rome in his mouth and I'll put another $100 in if I can have a turn!
Posted Friday July 23, 2010, About: Don't expect greatness from Cuban-led Rangers
What? Do you even know the Mavs history? The day he took over the franchise they have been a winner year and year out. I guess you mean they haven't won a championship. But that qualifier goes out to many franchises in all sports. He should have had one but the NBA decided through officiating that they preferred D. Wade. Now having said that I would much prefer Nolan Ryan's group because he is a baseball guy and they are on an upward spiral through his leadership.
