Clearly no one on this thread has been watching Dickey pitch for the past 3 years. I support the trade but he's unhittable at his best, which was pretty darn often this past season. I'll enjoy watching the Jays dominate the AL East while awaiting my Mets to finally compete in 2014 and beyond.

What are you people talking about? Oliver Perez has not made a start for the Mets in months. He's in the nosebleed section of the bullpen. He is not in the rotation and won't be anyimte soon.

Want a reality check? Olney is a schmuck, ESPN is a terrible sports organization, and since Minaya took over, most of his trades have worked out pretty darn well. So I guess trading 4 B-level prospects for Johan Santana was just making noise?

If you're gonna pop off, at least know what the h*** you're talking about.
