Funny thing to me is that all these "starters" are quick to throw Tebow under the bus when Tebow rarely plays. Tebow isn't the reason the Jets are 3-6. The Jets are 3-6 because they suck.

I agree. Also, the ACC's home offices are in Greensboro as well. If they need a larger venue, then I'm sure the money could get ponied up to either expand the current coliseum or build a new, larger venue.

There weren't a lot of rebounds on that team for any one not named Zeller or Henson. He didn't have a good sophomore season, but he showed in his freshman season that he could hit the outside jump shot and do it in clutch situations. He tried to change his game too much as a sophomore IMO and it caused some regression statistically. Terrible defender? You act like there is a premium on defense in the NBA. Barnes will be fine. He's not going to be a game changing elite talent, but I'm not sure that anyone in this draft is.

Shaq is/was a physical freak of nature with his combined size and athleticism. A rare talent that would've excelled no matter what age he entered the NBA. Tim Duncan stayed in school for four years, improved his game, and matured emotionally during that time. Davis isn't used to his body yet and, frankly, is the LAST guy you'd want speaking in the press conference. His speech is nearly unintelligible. He's not a "Face of the Franchise" guy much less a franchise player. The Bobcats, should they get the #1 pick, need to do their due diligence and draft the right player not necessarily the popular pick.

If he really wanted to play for UNC, he would've taken the scholarship when it was offered. Sounds like a manufactured story on Paul's part to me. The "walk on" conversation was probably more along the lines of Doherty saying he didn't have any available scholarships and that Paul could walk on the first year and then be on scholarship as a sophomore. That wasn't an extremely uncommon practice. I don't dislike Paul, but he probably should worry about his professional career and what he's doing now over a supposed slight when he was a high school recruit.

Seriously, from that comment you would think FSU had knocked off Kentucky. UNC starts a senior, a junior and 3 sophomores (and that was senior, 2 juniors, 2 sophomores before Dexter got hurt). UNC doesn't normally recruit "one and dones" though occasionally they will have a player who plays well enough as a freshman to impress NBA scouts and become lottery picks. Traditionally, UNC has never held anyone back if it was in their overall best interest to turn pro rather than stay in school.
