'07 was only close becuase it was raining, cold, and at the Big House. The score should have been 35-3. The '06 Michigan team was filled with stars that I am use to seeing out of a Michigan squad. The years before '06 werent that good for the wolverines going 7-5 in '05, and not to mention 5 straight loses to Ohio st. Unfortunately, i have a lot of friends that are from the state up north and ive heard them for the past 2 years under carr that there was something internally going wrong there.

They had a young team and just because they are young and didnt have a good season doesnt mean they weren't prepared. What i meant by that was the last few years under Carr you could tell that they weren't mentall or physically ready to play to start the season. They actually looked more athletic and ready to play this year. The pieces just weren't there this year.

I think Michigan need not to worry. I am really excited that Michigan brought in RickRod. Soon enough Michigan will be back atop the Big Ten (of course behind the Buckeyes). RR can recruit and I beleive has one of the top classes in the nation coming in (again behind the Buckeyes). As much as I hate Michigan, I got my laughs in this year since we all knew they wouldnt be that good. One thing that i saw different from this years Michigan team, is they didnt look so fat, unprepared, and out of shape from the years past. Anyways, good move getting ride of the DC, this was the first EVER Michigan squad I've seen give up so many big plays on D.

I think you need to take a bit of your own advice, give it up. I hope you didnt waste a whole day researching this information. I would say you have issues if you did or just too much time on your hands. You should get a job for ESPN classics or something. Don't get me wrong, I applaud the effort. I just don't see the Importance of your arguement. What about the past 3 years. If you're going to bring up incident back in 94, why not just go all the way to 08? It would probably bring more validity to your arguement and more importantly up to date.
