South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier claimed Alabama used some tape trickery on field goals and extra points Saturday in a 20-6 win over the Gamecocks, and has asked the Southeastern Conference if what he saw on video is legal. Spurrier said yesterday it looked as if the Crimson Tide holder put a small piece of white tape on the ground to spot PATs and field goals, then quickly put the tape in his pocket after the kick. SEC spokesman Charles Bloom said the league is looking into Spurrier's claims.

Rule book says, white tape is legal in grass but only red tape can be used in snow. Since when do players pants have pockets ? Maybe for there car keys.

For starters why is he practicing with the team if he's suspended ? #2 they are doing just fine without him. #3 Who cares if he wrote a letter of apology. Bottom line anger issues dont go away in three weeks and besides his other antics he has'nt changed one bit.
This resembles the Maurice Clarrett suspention which ended when they needed him in the NC game. Dispicable, you suspend him for a year then let me help you. Last time I checked that was 365 days not three weeks!
