Only if Washington is very very dumb will they sign Taylor. But Washington has proved an almost unparalleled level of idiocy in its ownership/management.
Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Matt Forte, Jonathan Stewart, Leron Mcclain, Ray Rice, Kevin Smith, Marshawn Lynch, MJD, Moreno, Donald Brown.. there has been such overwhelming difficulty in finding good runners in the draft! It would be a fantastic decision to overspend in free agency for a very very average runner!
If I was a GM I'd very rarely go after a runner or LB in the draft, they transition TOO easily.
Over/under on how many injuries in the consecutive ravens/steelers games? 7?
Can't like that they have to end the season with carolina then chicago then nyg.
Ending the season with Carolina and NYG certainly doesn't help.
Hope he has an awful career, or at least an awful start so his second contract is mediocre.
He got a career-threatening injury, very nearly life-ending, yet came back faster than 99% of the players in the league would have. He's among the top 3 toughest to play his position. You could make a solid argument he is THE toughest wideout in the game. He came back from a very illegal hit to help contribute and get his team to the super bowl.
And you go and say that. Wow.
-one war fought for the financial benefit of high up repubs (Cheney, Bush, etc..), sacrificing iraqi life and american pride along the way
-a botched war in afghanistan because of other priorities (Iraq)
-abandoning of the rule of law w/ torture and censorship (the first step fascists took in their regimes)
-a tax program that essentially stole from the poor and gave to the rich
- worst debt since great depression
-worst economy since great depression

pencil them in for a first round DE, IMO. He'll give thig one year to prove himself, meanwhile scouring the draft for sleeper options. nate davis, anyone?
im betting they go orakpo with the third overall, and then grab a q in next year's draft.
P.S. ChiTownBlues has 548 comments. Those are likely 548 attempts at jokes, and 548 times nobody's laughed.
And for everyone saying he didnt deserve to get credit because that was Dungy's team, well then he at least deserved credit for GETTING a team to the SB, because the Raidahs team he had just left met him in the SB. But i dont believe your ignorant crap, he won the super bowl by motivating those players to play at a level they never had before. Anyone who can remember that team will attest to that.
If anyone can remember to when Cadillac was healthy, the Bucs team was filthy. He looked like a HOF running back early on, and that team looked like it would be in contention for years to come.
If Oakland hadn't heisted TB so thoroughly with the 2 1st rounders and 2 2nds to even give them Johnny, there wouldn't have been such an outcry
Those congressional hearings brought out just how scummy trash mcnamee AND clemens were. THEYRE BOTH lMMORAL SHlTEATERS.
