Before everyone jumps on me for saying he's average, the Vikings run blocking line is ridiculous. Hutchinson and McKinnie are as good as any left side in football, and when Birk was there they were MAULING. The simple fact that Chester Taylor could run behind that line for 1200 yards while rarely breaking big plays is testament to that line.

Only if Washington is very very dumb will they sign Taylor. But Washington has proved an almost unparalleled level of idiocy in its ownership/management.

Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Matt Forte, Jonathan Stewart, Leron Mcclain, Ray Rice, Kevin Smith, Marshawn Lynch, MJD, Moreno, Donald Brown.. there has been such overwhelming difficulty in finding good runners in the draft! It would be a fantastic decision to overspend in free agency for a very very average runner!

If I was a GM I'd very rarely go after a runner or LB in the draft, they transition TOO easily.

I really don't expect the Ravens to get worse, I think Flacco's improvement on offense will more than counter the loss of Ryan on D. And with Rice, Gooden, McClain all improving, I expect big things out of this squad. I'm not saying the Ravens are better, but I would say the Steelers have more question marks going into the season. They've gotta learn to protect Big Ben. For the well-being of his career, it needs to happen. Plus I'm not sold on their running game, not at all.

Vikings are no lock: 1) Williamses likely out for the first four games. 2)Adrian Peterson is the Dwyane Wade of football, plain and simple. He plays with so much anger/heart that he's always going to be susceptible to injury 3)Brett's erratic ways/lack of familiarity with the playbook.

Over/under on how many injuries in the consecutive ravens/steelers games? 7?

Can't like that they have to end the season with carolina then chicago then nyg.

Ending the season with Carolina and NYG certainly doesn't help.

If the Redskins want to be good they'd give up their ridiculous allegiance to Jason Campbell's mediocre play. Skins have one of the biggest fanbases in the league and they please them for 9 months out of the year. They put out a competitive team every year but never get anywhere with it. And in four or eight years you can make a good observation on the progress (or lack thereof) of a democratically controlled gov't. But as of right now, the report card on the repub past 4-8 years reads like :
-one war fought for the financial benefit of high up repubs (Cheney, Bush, etc..), sacrificing iraqi life and american pride along the way
-a botched war in afghanistan because of other priorities (Iraq)
-abandoning of the rule of law w/ torture and censorship (the first step fascists took in their regimes)
-a tax program that essentially stole from the poor and gave to the rich
- worst debt since great depression
-worst economy since great depression

Haha but Scottm643, lebron gets 90 % of the calls, especially against the wiz. He's angry that hes not allowed to casually walk to the basket because hes always been allowed to do that against the wiz.
