Fedor always looks like he's moving at a slow pace and many have made mention of his unorthodox striking style. He broke his hand in a recent fight mostly due to the way he swings. But while most of his punches are looping and look wild, they're all thrown with bad intentions. And the strike that KO'd Bret was a very pretty strait right so he knows what he's doin' in the ring/cage for sure. Boxing is called the "sweet science" for a reason. They spend their entire training regimens working on striking whereas MMA fighters split their time between traditional boxing, wrestling, mui tai, ju jitsu, etc. so as not to become one dimensional. As for brutal...definitely not. While it looks moreso, boxers can take numerous shots to the head over a 12 round fight. It's the cumulative punishment that causes the type if damage you see if long time fighters. MMA is probably much more damaging to the rest of the body, but the KOs are usually quick and even the slug fests only last 3 or 5 rounds. Plus, as you mentioned, MMA fighters aren't usually trained to strike as well as boxers, right (by the way...watch any fight with Spencer Fisher or Marcus Davis and you'll see some beautiful boxer-like striking)? Well, I've rambled but it truly is a great sport...keep watching, yeah!

Yeah...he came out of his mom with this massively muscular upper body and those pencil thin legs. And other than liftin' dead weight and having tiny, shrunken jimmies, hiding their drug use is what 'roid-heads do best. I'm not sayin' one way or another. He may just be the most mesomorphic person alive and only works upper body. But I'm thinkin' "natural" is not the best way to describe this dude, yeah?

I agree with you somewhat, but saying you'll whip someone who dismantled you previously is plain moronic. You expect him to show some bravado but the way he put it comes off as arrogant and ignorant. Perhaps the bleaching chemicals are having an affect on his melon, yeah?

You'd think the NFL ownership would do something about Al considering he's operating with a huge loss every year and his product is worth so much less than other franchises. I have to imagine Al's idiocy has to be affecting the bottom line of the whole organization with revenue sharing and whatnot. The NFL as a whole could be making so much more if the Raider were once again a viable entity, huh?
