GSP already dominated him once before, no interest in seeing a rematch.

Chris Chellios has become a joke.
Posted Tuesday August 18, 2009, About: Raps, Bucks agree on trade
Great trade for the Raptors, Delfino wasn't going to sign here and Ukic wouldn't get any minutes as a 3rd string PG. Toronto gets a 22 year old player with great upside in return, another spectacular deal from BC.

Jamario Moon probably has the lowest IQ in all professional sports.
Posted Wednesday May 06, 2009, About: NHL fighting Coyotes move to Canada
Even if the team doesn't relocate, I would be satisfied with it simply folding and having their roster dispersed amongst the remaining NHL team, thus improving the overall NHL product and making for a more entertaining game. In all honesty, relocating teams is a nice idea, but there is probably only enough real talent out there to field 24 teams, thus eliminating all the 4th line enforcers and "checking lines". Imagine the quality of the product if you eliminated say Phoenix, Nashville, Atlanta, Florida, Tampa, and one of San Jose or Anaheim. The on ice product would be phenemonal, it would be like watching play off hockey all year round. Sure you would lose some advertising dollars with those cities leaving, but they could probably make up for it in increasing sponsorship in the remaining cities once the product improved more people would tune in and more companies would spend money on advertising and marketing. Obviously I'm just day dreaming and this will never happen, but it sure would make the NHL more enjoyable to the casual fan.
Posted Wednesday May 06, 2009, About: NHL fighting Coyotes move to Canada
This is the NHL people, whatever move makes the most sense for the well being of the league (moving a team north of the border) will not happen.

However there is more potential this time for the team to be moved compared to previously with Pittsburgh and Nashville because of the bankrupcy filing, which might take the power out of GB's hands and put the decision making in the hands of the legal system, hopefully that is the case and the courts allow Balsille to buy and relocate the team.

Good Canadian kid.
Posted Monday March 23, 2009, About: Roenick: Crosby needs more personality
As a Canadian, I wish we could trade Crosby's passport for Ovechkin's passport. Ovechkin plays a more Canadian style than Crosby does and he isn't such a whiny tool like Crosby. 95% of hockey players, especially Canadian hockey players are taught these cliche cookie cutter respones as soon as they start playing the game. Makes you wonder why sports teams even employ beat writers, not like they ever get any interesting quotes out of these drones. Pretty much no matter what question is asked, you can expect a hockey player to fit these phrases into his reply "It was a good team effort" and "We worked hard out there tonight"

Posted Friday March 13, 2009, About: Penn files formal GSP complaint
BJ Penn is a world class joke. Did you see him acting like a big shot in the cage with kendall grove after his win over jason day at the last UFC. If I took a beating like BJ did I wouldnt be able to show my face around a UFC event for years.

Cote got robbed by the judges.
Posted Wednesday December 10, 2008, About: Sabres deny sale, Hamilton move
That was just off the top of my head, but I'd probably just find the 6 teams that produce the least amount of profit, or I guess I should say, lose the most amount of money and cut them.
Posted Wednesday December 10, 2008, About: Sabres deny sale, Hamilton move
I agree the league should be contracted to 24 teams, based on lack of interest in several markets as well as lack of available talent. The six teams I would like to cut would be Nashville, Atlanta, Florida, Phoneix, Carolina, and either San Jose or Anaheim, there is no need for that many teams in California. Tampa is a mess but if I'm not mistaken they have had solid attendance the last few years (largely due to the massive amount of Canadian tourists that live or visit the Tampa area).
Posted Friday November 21, 2008, About: Yankees not in ballpark for Lowe, Burnett
Burnett hasn't even earned the money he's getting paid in his current contract. He's a headcase, if he gets a 5 year deal expect 4 season in which he only plays half the season and then a career year in his 5th seson...can't tell I'm a bitter Jays fan?
Posted Tuesday November 11, 2008, About: Raptors shopping for shooter
Love the people who say things like why trade Bargnani, instead we should trade moon, graham, and parker...well if Colangelo could get a place like Wallace for those 3 players, 1 mediocore starter and 2 bench players, than he would, but obviously no team is going to give up an impact player for 3 players like that, thus Bargnani's name coming up. And Wallace is not the logical choice becauase of his contract, whereas Harrington's contract is up after this year, freeing up cap space. Saying that, I wouldn't trade Bargnani straight up for Harrington for sure, would have to really think about it for a player like Wallace who has concussion history and cant seem to stay healthy.

Posted Wednesday June 25, 2008, About: Pacers sending O'Neal to Raptors?
for all you idiots out there who think the 44 million JO is owed is a bad thing. in 2 years time when bosh becomes a free agent that 22 million JO is being paid comes off the books and the raps have the financial flexibility to sign bosh to a max contract extension and have cap flexibility to add another significant piece to their team.
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Three teams chasing T.J. Ford
Id rather see the raps go after someone like maggette or jefferson but if they cant make a deal like that happen trading ford for oneal is better than not trading ford at all. rasho's a good backup C but its not like he isn't replaceable. and giving up the 17th pick isnt that big of a deal because the raps have enough young players and they already struggle to spread the minutes around, try spreading the minutes to another rookie you hope to develop, wont be easy.

the only thing with having oneal is that you commit to not starting #1 pick bargnani for another year as you would already have bosh and oneal PF and C...and bargnani CANNOT play SF, he gets eaten alive.

ford for oneal is a decent experiment because thats all it is, you trade 1 avg. injury prone player in ford for a better injury prone player in oneal, so if both stay healthy you made the better deal. also if the experiment doesnt pan out, you either trade oneal next year as his 20mil contract expires at seasons end and will be a valuable trade assest, or you keep him and free up the 20 mil on your cap, either way it works out.

oneal is a poor mans chris bosh offensively, but defensively he is better which would help a lot of the raps interior D issues, and if bargnani bounces back and is even just a little bit better than he was as a rookie this team has a chance, worthy experiment, shows BC is trying to win now. doenst really hurt torontos long term plans either as there best 3 players bosh, bargs, and calderon are still in T.O. longest post ever
