I haven't heard anything about this either. And I figure BSU would throw a pretty large stink about it, seeing as they just replaced their blue field (with a newer blue field) very recently.
Really, if you sit those 5 players, who are you punishing? The 5 that did it, yes, but you are also screwing over 75 other guys that had nothing to do with it. How many seniors would have gone out there with 0 hope of winning their send-off game due to something they didn't do?
VT was getting some serious pressure on Luck, and he was throwing pinpoint passes while running for his life. Even Prior was looking pretty accurate on the run, and nobody thinks he's NFL-ready yet. An NFL defense will feast on the kind of immobility Mallet was displaying.
I'm certainly not feeling too good about the Steelers. Blown out by the patriots, beaten by the Jets recently, they beat the Ravens last time but not by much and it was ugly. The only team I'd have any confidence in them beating is the Chiefs. Jets, Ravens, Colts are all a coin-toss.... and the Patriots would blow us out of the water.
I'm not sure we were watching the same game. Mallet looked great when he had time and didn't have to move, but god forbid you pressure him at all - if he had to move at all laterally he hurled the ball at his receivers feet. Doesn't bode well for an NFL career.
Your conference is better at football, congratulations. Have fun with that SEC education. In the words of Carl: "Scraping the turd-lines out of crawfish may be a major at LSU, but it ain't much of a career."
"No, I'm NOT going to complain about the poor officiating AGAIN"
Followed by half the blog complaining about poor officiating..
It was a good game. Few missed calls sure but the officiating just seems bad all around this year. The Jets showed up. What really pissed me off was the playcall that resulted in the safety. That's what lost the game.
So what I'm getting out of this blog is that the poster thinks dogs and people are equal. While both are deplorable, if you think beating a dog is equal to beating your wife, I have no respect for you.
Everybody thinks the geography doesn't make sense, but they don't realize how far TCU has to travel for the MWC already. When you add in Hawaii in 2012, TCU would actually have more travel time in the MWC than they will in the Big East.
Great move for football. Horrible move for basketball. Nobody cares about basketball though.
The Steelers are a cash cow for the NFL. They're one of the most popular franchises, with some of the most devoted fans. If you think the NFL is purposefully trying to screw them, you're out of your mind.
B.) I'd bet money you've never had a serious concussion before, if you're spouting that kind of ignorance.
