Morgan has been hitting .389 since coming to Washington a month ago... Fourth best batting average in the MLB in July. I see why he was happy to leave the Pirates and come to the Nats.

Like I said before, Jason Campbell isn't to blame for this skid. When he had a healthy o-line giving him time in the pocket, he was one of the best passers in the NFL. He was the only QB to have no interceptions halfway through the season. In order to help Campbell the Redskins drafted three receivers... big mistake. Instead of trying to give him more and more options to pass to, give him a reliable o-line with some depth. If the redskins are able to strengthen their o-line this off-season, so that it can last Campbell a whole season, he can be one of the best QBs in the NFL, just like he was the first half of this season.

When our o-line was healthy, Campbell dominated. He was the only qb to not throw a single interception until week 9, when he met the Steelers number one defense. Portis was a potential MVP candidate about midway through the season. We jumped out to a 6-2 start and were thinking superbowl. Due to our o-line deteriorating through injuries, like the lost of probowler chris samuels, we lost 5 out of 6 games and were eliminated from the playoffs. Zorn can't be blamed for this, injuries can. Add some depth and young talent to the o-line instead of loading up on receivers like last years draft, then we got a shot.
