This game reminds me a lot of the 2000 Championship when Wienke had just won the heisman and Fla State's high powered offense was supposed to be unstoppable. Thus Torrence Marshall kept the OU defense motivated for Heupul's 2nd place in the heisman and the old addage that offense wins games while defense wins championships proved true.

A difference this game is that Fla is favored by the oddsmakers, not the high powered offensive team.

Will be pulling for the Sooners but this game is too close to call. Any indications that the Tex Tech cotton bowl loss gave were discounted by Utah dominating Bama. It will be a heck of a game.

Your would enjoy our Oklahoma City Thunder team then, although our record is terrible, I (a season ticket holder) have really only seen them quit in a few games. Even Billups said after Friday's game that "They (Thunder) are better than a 4 win team."

The young combination of Durant, Green, & Westbrook give it 100% almost every night. Once they learn how to finish and get a win we will be enjoying regular playoff games in OKC (with hopes for a championship someday).

Whether Percy plays or not it is in Meyers best strategy to indicate that he will play (even if very limited) so Oklahoma must prepare there game plan to stop him. Otherwise the weak spots would be easier to attack. Recall how earlier this season the extent of Peyton Mannings injury was kept quiet.

As the play of Durant, Green, & Westbrook gradually improves having an experienced 7 foot center can atleast take a little pressure off of this young rebuilding team. No this pickup won't put OKC into the playoffs but it definately cannot hurt matters worse than they currently are, thus as an OKC season ticket holder I like this free agent move that doesn't tie up significant salary cap monies.
