The Carolinas do not suffer fools well...Imo, that's the long and short of it.

Charlotte led the league in attendance for years and years when they had the Hornets-in spite of having some sorry**** teams.

In time, we figured out George Shinn was a total incompetent--and almost a convicted felon. He then sold partial interest in the team to Ray whats-his-name: the guy who made John Gotti look like Mr. Rogers .

It takes a real idiot to screw up NBA basketball in the Carolinas. But Shinn and Ray "Gotti" sure did it.

The NBA could have allowed a group which included Larry Bird to restart the Charlotte franchise "but noooooooooo!." It went to a "I'm-in-it-for-the-money-and-media-exposure businessman"--but kudos to Stern: at least this selfish businessman was African-American. At least giving Charlotte the shaft again was more politically-correct this time....

Personally, I think all sports teams should be handled like the Green Bay Packers, where **the people** own the team.

The "average Joe" is a two-timing sex-addict?...Man, no wonder this country is in a mess!!

Compare JFK and Clinton to Bush?...Why would I want to compare two "never-saw-a-commitment-I-wouldn't-like-to-break" slick-willies with a "born-with-a-silver-spoon-in-his-mouth, one-hand-in-your-pocket-for-the-rich-and-the-other-one-with-an-assault-weapon-i n-his-hand-ready-for-war?"....What's the connection?

Is he going to make Sally Suctionmouth his campaign manager?

Maybe Alabama should elect Chuck the Dumbf### and make sure they have a lottery. Keep him there for four years and the dummy will throw all his money into the lottery. Hey, you'll get the governor's salary back too every year!

I enjoy watching Chuck the, well you-know-what, on TNT. I always liked to watch him play, too.
But, you know, so many of these guys--like Barkley--are so immature. Example #1: do you know how much money he's flushed down the toilet...er...gambled away in his life? Does he not have a gambling addiction?....Imagine how much good that money could have done for charity instead of for mob bosses/casinos 2) Seriously, what's a 40-something year old man doing out looking for "the perfect bj?" I like sex as much as the next guy, but I can tell you it's much more satisfying to have a "soul mate" than it is to have a human sex doll at one's disposal in a seedy part of town.

But, maybe it's just me.
