We want Zorn back in Seattle... If Washington doesnt want him we want him in Seattle.... Bring back our Boy.

The mariners are not penny pinchers... THey have the 6th highest payroll in baseball. Heck they gave Silva a 4 year $48M contract. THey seem to OVER Pay for players.

THe M's were hosed beucase I think the Twinkies were just blocking teams from Washburn. They didnt want him and they were not willing to give up ANYONE for washburn. It was just a block move and the M's got hosed.
Posted Wednesday May 07, 2008, About: APR Report hits WSU hard
Schools like WSU/Idaho get hosed. They can not get the big name athletes so they rely on outcasts, marginal athletes, and athletes that have trouble getting acedemically eligible. They come to school, then fail out, or transfer out to better schools. I went to WSU and love the school, but its in the middle of nowhere. The same goes for Idaho. How does taking scholarships away force these schools to improve? If anything it makes it worse. THe athletes cant pay for the school, and htey cant work. So what do they do? They transfer out, which lowers the APR even more. Also, taking 8 scholarships away will kill any chance to maintain their competitive level, which then more kids will transfer out or drop out. Give me a break. The APR benefits the big name schools and all the smaller D-1 Schools get hosed. Look at the list/rankings. Its all the small schools. Basically your punishing the schools that need help. Its like punishing the dyslexic kid for failing his reading test.
Posted Saturday April 19, 2008, About: When will Sonics leave Seattle?
White Sox nation

Several folks have come forward to buy the team. Bennett only bought the team to move it. Theres a lawsuit in place saying the contract was breached becuase in the lawsuit it says that Bennett needed to try for 1 year to keep it in Seattle. Several emails have come out that were sent 3 -6 months after they bought the team that says "dont worry boys we are not staying in Seattle. We are moving them to OKC".... Bennett hosed Seattle and lied to the previous owner.
Posted Friday April 11, 2008, About: Did Sonics owner lie about relocation?
Ok I am tired of the OKC Boomer Sooner fans saying its our fault cause we havent paid for a new Arena. Give me a break. We are still paying for the last Key Arena renovation. We are also paying for Safeco Field, We are also paying for Qwest Field, etc. What are you paying for? Honestly you think you have the fan base? You say you have 1M folks in your area. So that means that every other night 2-4% of your population will be at the game? I doubt it. Also, the only reason why you sold out most the Hornet games was becuase the seats were at 50% off and corporate entities bought the rest of the seats. I was there at a few of those games and the Arena was only at a 1/4 capacity yet it was announced a sell out!!!! give me a break!!!
Posted Wednesday March 12, 2008, About: Alexander's future uncertain
Alot of folks are saying his production went down becuase hes hurt... He hurt his wrist. What does that have to do with his ability to cut, and plow thru folks. I can see that he wont be able to switch the sides he is carrying the ball, but thats it. The O-Line was the reason he was great. What Seattle needs is a big bruiser that will carry the ball up the gut and move the line. Thats the reason we signed Ducket. Jones I am still scratching my head on. He is the same as Alexander just 4 years younger.

The question is why did Pitt and Stanford both pull their offers. Especially right after visiting Pitt. Something had to happen.
Posted Wednesday January 23, 2008, About: Mayo's possible NCAA violation
When I was in college I got some free tickets from John Stockton. I know of other players giving away tickets for different reasons. So yes they are avaliable to the rest of the student body. They are going over board. I remember when I was in college I couldnt even accept a stupid ride from a coach, even if it was POURING OUTSIDE AND FREEZING, becuase it was against NCAA Bylaws!!!!
Posted Monday January 14, 2008, About: Sonic guard hears trade rumors
Hey Sooner Magic. I really doubt the NBA will allow the move. This team has been here for a long time. We have offered to pay for new arena's. Local Ownership has come forward to buy the team, etc.... The new owners totally dismantled this team to rid them of salary committments. Also, especially after one of the new owners said we dont expect them to make money we just want a team. The other owners dont want to ratify a move of a successful team to a market that cant support a pro team as it will devalue their teams. Yes you sold some tickets for the NO Hornets, but only cuase the tickets were half price. Try selling out an Arena when the tickets are $50 a pop. You dont have the population. We have 6 million folks in a hour drive from seattle. You have what maybe 500,000 people? That is not a recipe for success.
Posted Tuesday September 25, 2007, About: Marlins to test Dontrelle's value
Chuck! Are you on crack? I would maybe give up Jeremy Reed for Dontrelle only becuase we have a bunch of awesome OF's... Oh I would throw in Horacia Ramierez also. Dontrelle is now only a 4 or 5 slot starter now...
Posted Tuesday July 10, 2007, About: Seattle sleeper in A-Rod chase?
even though I would like to see Arod in Seattle theres no way do I want AROD for $30Million. We have too many areas to address to tie up that much money in 1 player. We need 1 more TOR pitcher, a new 1B, and we need to resign Ichiro... We can do all that for a little more then $30M a year.
