Manny is not stuck with the dodgers offer. That's all hype!!!! Soon a team will be in discussions with Manny and Scott Boras not only the dodgers. The teams that are likely to be in discussions are only the dodgers, Giants, and the Yankees. The Mets already said they officially not involved with Manny services, the Red Sox of course are out that's common sense, the Angels are not after Manny just like their general manager said. And the rest of the teams around baseball are not interested or they can't afford him. Sorry, and the giants are interested but they can't afford him either. So its highly likely that its going to come down to the dodgers and the Yankees. And the dodgers GM said that there are not going to go higher than their two-year offer/$45 million. But Manny already said he wants more than that. That would mean a three-year deal or four-year deal or even a five-year deal. It wouldn't make sense at all for a national team like the dodgers to give Manny a three or four year deal because 1. this year in may Manny will turn 37 2. He can't play some DH spots in the national league. For him to sign with the Yankees makes a lot of sense because a player like Manny Ramirez for his age belongs in the American league. Though the Yankees are not officially out of the Manny sweepstakes, we don't if they will agree on a deal yet between Manny and the Yankees. The Yankees can give Manny a milti-year contract because he can play the outfield as well as a DH. We all know how great of a hitter Manny is and just like Hal Steinburner said "everyday we are looking at open opinions for our team to go to the world series" and also just like Scott Boras said "If any team that wants to win, they should take a run at Manny". One more thing Manny Ramirez also said that he expects and thinks the Yankees will offer him a contract and again the Yankees are not officially out of the run and why do you think the Yankees are trying to trade Xavier Nady or Nick Swisher???

With the Yankees signing CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, and Mark Teixeira, its though to say that the yanks can win the AL East. I think the red sox will will and why I say that is because they have a good starting rotation and good power hitters. Dont you see kevin Youklis is there clean-up hitter and who they got between Youklis, David Ortiz and J.D Drew and they also have Jason Bay. Thats why I say the Yankees need to sign Manny Ramirez because when Manny got traded to the dodgers he took that team to the playoffs. And I Know the yankees want to win the world series. All the yankees need is to sign Manny Ramirez and they are all done for the offseason. And also trade Hideki Matsui because he cannot play the outfield and hes always hurt.
