it is a scam, its only use to to shutup the folks that play the race card everytime they do not get what they want. I'm sorry but its 2012 last I checked and in 99% of the time these days, that card does not apply. Next rule will be that if you have a white starting QB his backup must be black, and you must have one white WR per every 3 black ones. LOL
I just think its funny the lengths some people go so that they do not have to take responsibility for theirselves
Since when has Belichick ever held onto something because it MAY help him out in a questionable way years to come? Never that I can think of, but I could be wrong. This guy would sell his mother for a 3rd round pick if it helped him win an extra game next year. I just dont see the Pats holding onto Mallett or even see Mallett just standing around wasting away on the bench for the next 3+ years. The thinking in the club house will be, "we drafted him because he was a good bargin and now we are selling him for more than what we paid". That equals a big win to them.
they get a 3rd and 5th for a player that was a 4th round pick and has never played. But if it came down to it, could change the 5th to a 3rd. Then they would get two 3rd round picks for him.
OK, so this scenaro may not be popular what so ever. I think that Bradford is a VERY good QB but he is so fragile that I just see visions of Chad Pennington. I also think Ryan Mallett given the chance can be an All Pro QB. I think the issues with his attitude have been resolved by him dropping to the 4th round and spending 2 years with Belichick. Think about it, if it were not for the questions about his attitude he would have been a top 15 pick.
Houston and SanFran make the most sense.....closely followed by Arizona(behind due to lack of running game and dominate defense that the other 2 have).
Exactly! And like I said, that is Peyton's house. I think he wants to keep it that way. Even if he never makes head coach. I think he could be equivalent of a Dick Lebeau but on the offensive side of the ball.
Maybe. But this isnt a knee or even a shoulder injury. Its a neck that has been operated on 3 times in a very short time span. Even if he does start to feel better, the last thing I want to see is Peyton as a quadriplegic with one big hit. This way he can build onto his legecy as not only one of the greatests QBs of all time but end up as one of the greatests coaches as well. Just imagine if he could command the entire team instead of just one side of the ball. With a few years being QB coach/OC, and getting experience, I believe he could do it.
indeed, very accurate except when he WAY under threw Thomas on the crossing route to possibly win the game in regulation.... but id say he more than made up for it later
Unlike the Steelers, the Pats have been known to give up lots of passing yards. Now that Elway has told Tebow to grow a pair and throw the ball, he seemed to listen today and has grown confidence. To things you dont want: 1. A pissed off Tebow from people telling him he cant throw 2. A confident Tebow.... I think the game will be a close one. NOTE: this is not coming from a Tebow fan (ive also worded my doubts), just from an observer.
WOW... I believe I called it. Ben Eatintoomanyburgers would get taken down all day by the Denver rush. And Tebow would play action and throw the bomb to D Thomas.. rinse and repeat
Tebow aside for now, the Steelers have a very poor O-line facing 2 outstanding pass rushers that will be chasing a one legged Ben Eatentoomanyburgers. As far as Tebow, all you hear them talk about is, "trying to keep the defense off balance and suprise them". I think they should start the first play by a play action pass and throwing a bomb to D Thomas. Even if its not completed, they should rinse and repeat the entire first series or so. This will have the Steelers play more zone, which will play into the strength of Tebow.
