The Rays are an example of someone in the front office dropping the ball. You average 15,000 for weeknight games? Why not do whatever it takes to put people in seats? The seats you cover with the dumb tarp should be removed and sold for $1. You put a person in the seat they'll buy even a dog and soda. DUH! You make $15 when otherwise the seat would be covered! Who wouldn't take in a game for a $1?

Right on the money! The Sox, Yanks, and a few others are driven to win! They play within the rules. As much as I don't like the Sox you have to respect them. They play in an old small stadium but are not afraid to spend to put a winner on the field.

It's about time Selig started doing something for the fans. The biggest joke is no instant replay. These purist are another joke. By the time the umps get together to try and get the call right the call could come by a text or ear phone. So far the only thing Eckersley has gotten right is strike zone off limits to instant replay. Fans pay so much money for seats and don't need to have a umpire say oops we blew it. Two wild card teams battle in a one game playoff seems ok or best of 3.
