that isn't enough, get rid of the whole lot and replace them with the Hooters girls softball team

I'd just blame it all on Bronson Arroyo

I'm sure the Diamondbacks would be willing to arrange for delivery by 5 o'clock this afternoon for a bag of used balls and a can of pine tar.

Looks like that meeting with his coach this week is to see him off
Posted Thursday April 17, 2014, About: Raiders desperately trying to move Pryor
So the Raiders despertly want to trade Prior.....................FOR WHAT! What do you get for nothing? And the irony is that Prior was one of their better QB's in the past few years. Think about it, JaMarcus Russell, Carson Palmer, Bruce Gradkowski etc. Again, what do you get for nothing?

2 words....Arena Football!
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: Smith won't play for San Fran in 2014
Niners will come in at 10 - 6, maybe even a dramatic 11 - 5 but that's it. They won't go very far in the playoffs and this will probably be Jim Harbaugh's last year in the Bay Area. I think Jimbo has worn out his welcome, San Francisco is too sophisticated of an area to continue to embrace an ranting idiot. I say that with a grain of salt knowing that Barry Bonds remains a hot property in the Bay
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: Pads offered Headley more than $30M
The Padres problem is commitment, plain and simple. When they built the new park they said the money woes would go away and they'd be able to compete financially with the upper tier teams. Not the Yankees or Red Sox or Cubs or Dodgers but with teams like the Angels, Giants, Phillies etc. And then they went out and got second tier talent like Brian Giles. The one guy they had that was a community icon they traded - A. Gonzalez. Forget about infielders, outfielders, pitching, make the commitment to complete and stop running a 2nd class circus!
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: Carr 'absolutely' No. 1, according to Carr
oh God, I pitty any team banking their future on this kid, watch the Vegas Bowl, he was out matched...completely overwhelmed by a weak USC team being held together with barbwire. No, Carr is not an NFL starting QB. If it were me and I was contemplating Carr, I'd just make a trade for Ponder or the kid in Jacksonville, at least you'd get past the 2 to 3 year learning curve.
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: Smith won't play for San Fran in 2014
not sure if this is a compliment or criticism but a fact is a fact, the Niners were turnkey for Harbaugh. Singletary did a good job of growing the team, when Harbaugh took over he inherited men, not boys. Now look at them with Harbaugh ranting and raving all over the sidelines like a fool, it should be of no surprise that guys like Smith are going off, just look at the coach.

That is not to say that Singletary was a great coach, he was a good coach but probably not a very good strategist or game manager. But as a coach, preping his players to play at their maximum, Mike did a good job of calling out his players if they wern't giving 110%. For the record, Mike, keep your pants on next time, no need to shoot the moon to get your point across. Plus, it's kind of a dangerous proposition to take your pants off in San Francisco!

exactly!
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: Smith won't play for San Fran in 2014
This guy needs a mentor like Mike Singletary, maybe even Jim Brown. Look at how one confrontation developed Vernon Davis into one of the top tight ends in the NFL. It can't be Harbaugh, truthfully, if Harbauch got in Smith's face Smith would probably squish Harbaugh. No body is going to attemp to squish Singletary.
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: Pads offered Headley more than $30M
this guy is doing the Padres a huge favor, save the money and spend it on pitching, real pitching, not scrap heap junk like the Josh Johnson's of the world.
Posted Tuesday April 15, 2014, About: Trump taking a legit run at the Bills
yeazh....so let's say it's third and 2 from the 13 yard line, those extra inches come in handy, I'm just saying...........
Posted Tuesday April 15, 2014, About: Trump taking a legit run at the Bills
Donald is a New York kind of guy, but purgatory...err...I meant Buffalo, I don't see Donald as being a Buffalo type of guy. Nope, I see that flashy hair, his grasp of the entertainment dollar and how huge that could be in the right market and it all ends up looking like the bright lights of LA will be flashing down upon the Bills and Donald if it can be arranged. Especially if Farmers Field can be built, maybe he would even be a part of that process as commercial real estate is his core business. This has LA written all over it.
Posted Monday April 14, 2014, About: First manager fired?
Gibson managing every game like its his last shouldn't be a surprise, that's how he played. They'll settle down, this team will come around and should end up with 82 - 85 wins
Posted Wednesday April 09, 2014, About: Glennon won't go quietly
what's the real advantage to going wit an old QB here? I'd go with Gannon and let him grow with McCown as his mentor. Makes no sense to go with the old guy in this situation.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2014, About: Howard to sit out vs. Lakers?
This guy is soft, he's the Jim Everett of the NBA. Such a waste of talent.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2014, About: Boras boasts a Morales deal is near
Boras should be seeking a club friendly, 2 to 3 year contract for Drew, as for Morales, 31 is such a young age to retire, he'll probably sit out. One thing is for sure, the players have to renegotiate this clause in the next CBA.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2014, About: Howard to sit out vs. Lakers?
He sat out with them, why not without them? This guy is a bum!
