PP slows the Celtics down to a thud, KG still has value and is an asset on the court. Doc is a good coach, having him around isn't going to hurt. I like him with young players, he's a great role model. PP needs to be the odd man out this year.
sweat, I have a losing product and can't sell the seats, marketing is down, looks bad for next year too. Hey, here's an idea, lets change the uni's, logo and rebrand this thing to generate some murchandise appeal = sales. Yea, that will probably work in Texas but it wouldn't fly on either coast. Mark, you're an idiot, that's the perception, maybe it's time to rebrand yourself? Just saying...
Tebow in Raiderville, the Black Hole, Darth and family, East 14th, West Oakland, Bzerkley. The ghost of Tooz will take care of that squeeky clean imagine, nothing that a whack from Jack Tatum couldn't fix. Maybe that's exactly what the T-man needs. Couldn't be any worse than Marc Wilson or the Mad Bomber himself...Daryle Lamonica. Bring him on, we'll corrupt him in no time
I seriously doubt Ellsbury will be sitting anywhere come next spring, just not the same situation as Loshe. Me, if I ruled Sox Nation, I wouldn't take on someone else's junk/mistake. I'd just go with the draft pick and continue to churn out quality players. Keep that farm pipeline full and plentiful. Cubs wouldn't give up prospects, their cupboard is too thin. They won't be in any kind of pennant race so they can afford to wait until free agent time.
2 words - hitting coach, as in how did this guy ever get this gig? Dude is a hitting coach, not a game manager. Fire this guy already or send him to the minors. Mike - it's just about ready to happen, be patient and you'll be wearing dodger blue in no time.
Blake Griffin for Paul Pierce, KG and Doc Rivers, really? That would be a disaster, Pierce is well past his prime and can't defend a one legged chicken, KG still has game but for how long, they actually count his minutes per game now. Doc, yea, I'd go for him as HC of the Clippers. But overall this trade would stink. But the question does remain, what do they do with Blake? This guy continually disappears in the big games. I would trade him, no doubt about that but taking on senior citizens isn't the way I'd go. I wonder what Cleveland would give? Maybe one of their young players and some nice draft choices? They're still looking to replace LaBron, BG ain't LaBron but he does have some star appeal.
aw....they're the Hawks, does anyone really care? This would be a great place for George Karl if he were available which he isn't. Maybe PJ Carlisimo, he actually did a great job with the Nets this year after taking over mid-season. How about Doug Collins? Maybe Shaq, just for laughs? Really, no one really cares.....
Arod....come on dude..you're Arod, just go to Miami and get juiced up, heck, you'll probably be ready to play by the end of the week. You know the juicer in you really wants to go out an play. At his point you can't damage an areay tarnished reputation. Go for it.
oh zrap, and this would have been the perfect situation for Vince to spruce up, the Raiders stink so bad that Vince would have ended up smelling like a rose.
Tebow is a stumbling, bumbling train wreck that somehow gets righted. Tebow is better than some NFL quarterbacks of old such as Ryan Leaf, Bobby Douglas, JaMarcus Russell, Steve Spurrier, Chrissy Everett, Mark Malone, Jeff George, Bubby Brister, Vince Young, Scott Mitchell, Rick Mirer just to name a few. Somehow this guy finds a way to win, and isn't that what it's all about? Wins and loses.
Angels loss would be the dodgers gain. Mike Scocisia is a Major Leagur manager, Donnie Ballgame is a hitting coach who routinely outmanaged. Ozzie Guillen is a better choice to manage the dodgers than Mattingly. Let it happen, Mike belongs in LA. For the Angels, bring on SoCal native and Giants 3rd base coach Tim Flannery. Tim has fire in his eyes and is passionate about the game. Just not sure he'd want the headache.
Donnie Ballgame is a hitting coach, that's it, period. Scosicia is done with his apprentice, it's time to move on to the real league. How did Mattingly get that gig anyway? I can see La Sorta in the dugout firing out meatballs with Scocisia. I hate the dodgers, but Scocisia was a gamer and he deserves the chance to come home.
If Arte were smart he'd arrange a trade, and Ted Lilly won't do! How about Either? Straight up. Then name Giants 3rd base coach Tim Flannery as the next Angels manager, not sure Tim would want the head ache though.
