There is no way Mike Brown trades Carson. Brown is a 'League' guy. Trading him would set a bad precedent. Brown may be a crap GM, but he's no fool. He understands that trading him would open the floodgates. He didn't trade Chad Johnson when he wanted out, and the Redskins offered a first rounder! No one here gets out alive.

Every year there is some new stud pitcher that gets used up because his body is too young to hold up to the strain of all those innings. They have to be brought along slowly, and with a gradual increase in innings pitched. Stay in the minors a little longer, or start off in the bullpen. You can't do that stuff to your arm and expect things not to break.

If Cutler was soft, wouldn't he already have that reputation? He played in the SEC. If he was soft, he would have taken himself out of a lot of games by now, right? He may be surly with the press but he isn't soft. There are no softies in the NFL. Except for Deion and his toe.
