Posted Sunday November 18, 2007, About: Cowboys-Redskins rivalry dying?
"This was a good rivarly when both teams were good but this was never a great rivarly since you would barely see any of the other teams fans in the stands. Great rivarlies are the close ones were the fans invade each others stadium and start some anarchy in the stands. Browns-Steelers and the Packer-Vikings are example of great rivarlies."

I'm sorry, but have you never seen a skins/cboys game, or what? Both fans represent very well during away games, and considering Packers-Vikings don't have nearly as much traveling to do, I'd say you're dead wrong.
Posted Thursday November 08, 2007, About: Most Titans want Pacman back
Actually, the Titans could use Pacman Jones. He had 3 pr tds, he had the best punt return average in the league, and he was 7th in average per kick return, and he had 62 tackles, four picks, a sack and a forced fumble, not to mention 14 passes defended and 12 deflected. He played on offense, he scored a defensive td; no team would look at those stats and say "we don't need that." If you boys don't want him, we'll take him in Washington. We can use a cornerback like that
Posted Wednesday October 24, 2007, About: Billick OK with Lewis' criticism
"I don't know that he's not right"? What the heck does that mean? Hold on, let me do the math here. That's a double negative, so when he says that he don't know that he's not right he's saying that he's unsure if Billick was wrong. Learn to say what you mean Ray. You're a great linebacker, but thinking and then speaking have never been your strong point.

Posted Wednesday October 24, 2007, About: Tiki booed at Giants Stadium
This guy has a right to his opinions. Just like we can have ours. I never liked Tiki, but he was a good back, and I'm not going to throw him under the bus now just because he's speaking his mind. Truth is, up until the G-Men started winning, everyone and everybody was saying the things Tiki said about Eli, and about Coughlin, but meaner. Go anywhere on this site and look up Tom Coughlin. Find any member of this site, and ask them about Tom Coughlin. They won't say nice things. I remember someone on here referring to Eli as "that leftover sperm in the Manning Family Condom." Tiki played for one man and with the other. Of all people to make statements about them, is Tiki not more qualified than we are? Maybe he should have been more diplomatic toward Eli, but to be honest, Eli was not showing any leadership ability up until fairly recently. Maybe he needed a fire lit under his a.s.s, and Tiki's words was the fuel.

Posted Wednesday October 24, 2007, About: Fuming Dolphins: Patriots lack class
The Pats don't lack class. It isn't their job to be nice and honorable on the field. It's their job to score touchdowns and win games. Belichick was right; one turnover and the Phins would have made it a two score game. It's always better to be safe than sorry...and if the losing team whines about how the team that beat them didn't win with class, well guess what...THEY WON.

Yeah, they're right about this, but the truth is this Dophin team is facing better competition and they play two more games. It's about time the damn '72 Dolphins just **** off and die, already.

yeah, the titans are the type of team that would be stupid enough to only have two qbs on the roster
Posted Thursday September 20, 2007, About: 'No apologies' from McNabb
Uh, the jew comment was not meant to demean black on white or white on black racism in any way...just to shed a little prespective on the situation. I think hitman had it right when he said that racism or bigotry in general is no excuse for failure.

The death asteroid, which will arrive in six years, is a great excuse. McNabb should play the asteroid card. No one can argue with that!
Posted Thursday September 20, 2007, About: 'No apologies' from McNabb
McNabb has a right to his opinion, and so do we. HItman made some good points, so did some of you others. However, some people are missing the main point here. The interview was conducted before the season, black quarterbacks do get more scrutiny it seems (for all the Eli and Rex hatespeech I've heard, I don't think any QB generated more haters for no good reason, pre-dog-fiasco of course, than Vick, simply because he seemed so good.) That being said, we need to stop telling each other to "shut up." The racist jerks in the world, in this country, have a right to voice their racist opinions, just like others have the right to counter them. Personally, I don't give a damn what McNabb says. As a Redskins fan, I've always harbored a soft spot in my heart for the only Eagle I've ever come close to liking.
And by the way, to the black guys who challenged the white guys to come up with evidence of encountering racism in their daily lives (I believe the line was "how many of you have been on an elevator where women recoil from you...etc") I have this to say:

Try being Jewish for one day. No matter what religion, color, or nationality, everybody hates the jews. And unlike skin color, anti-semitism (which is far more widespread and far older as well) is insidious. I remember in college when the guy who sold me and my roommate our tv told us that the they were going to "jew the price down."
It kinda stinks, too, because I'm not great with money, and all my friends ask me to do their taxes.

hey mcg, here's my impression of you: This A-Roidee stinks! I have no proof or reason to think he's a roidER other than the fact that I hate A-Rod! Oops, I mean A-Roidee! I'm going to put an exclamation point after everything I write, including questions! LOL I M A L337 HAX0R! Why don't you make an actual point instead of butchering the english language, you putz?
In all fairness, though, screw A-Rod and screw the Yankees.
Posted Monday June 25, 2007, About: Redskins talking to Cowher?
Not only are they the most profitable team in the league, they're the most profitable sports team in the country, period. And they're the second most profitable team in the world, to the Man. U. That doesn't make them a good team, but they aren't going bankrupt. Say what you want about Snyder, but as far as business is concerned, he's the best owner in the nfl, probably in all of sports, and there really can't be any debating that.
Posted Wednesday June 20, 2007, About: Pats may consider Georgia CB
As someone who went to the University of Georgia, a place known for generating great defenders who go to the NFL, Paul Oliver was a complete stud at CB, especially considering he was there after Greg Blue and Thomas Davis left. Dump Asante and keep Oliver.
Posted Wednesday June 20, 2007, About: Simms sliding down Bucs' chart
Six what are you talking about. I wonder where you pulled that quote from, as I find it hard to believe that Brown would say that about Simms over Applewhite, who holds the records for longest pass play (97 yards), most touchdown passes in a career (60), career yards (8,353), consecutive passes without an interception (156) and most yards passing in a game (473). Simms is second in td passes, but still second to Applewhite. Revisionist history? Yeah, stats and numbers are bogus when the coach says one guy is better. The Bills thought Rob Johnson was better than Doug Flutie, remember? The Ravens thought Tony Banks was better than Trent Dilfer. So that means nothing. On the field, Applewhite was much better.
Posted Tuesday June 12, 2007, About: McNabb's surprising recovery
McNabb does get a bum rap. He's really not a whiner, he hasn't had major injury problems until about two years ago, and while the Eagles didn't need T.O. to get to the Super Bowl, they for d*mn sure needed McNabb because he was out of control that year (which the I-hate-McNabb crowd said was due to Owens) and got them there himself. I personally hate the Eagles, but you have to think McNabb will probably come back strong. Considering Brian Westbrook's increased role as a true running back, there won't be as much pressure on McNabb to make plays with his feet. That being said, I hope he goes down tomorrow and the Eagles go 3-13, taking wins off the Cowboys, G-men, and how about the Cardinals just because they used to think they were an east coast team.
Posted Thursday April 26, 2007, About: Skins dangling Springs, want Johnson
First of all, **** you draftinsider. cool id name,****. Secondly, about us loyal skins across the country, the redskins are the most profitable and highly valued sports franchise in this country, mainly because we support our team by buying merchandise and more importantly, here in DC, we have NEVER FAILED to sell out fedex field. Never. Skins fans show up even if the team ****. Skins fans across the country still show up to away games, no matter what. In fact, the redskins are noted for having one of the best away fan bases. Thirdly, the cowboys fluke into the playoffs this year and all of a sudden the cowboy nation is talking trash again? **** off, loser. Last year we swept you, including beating the **** out of those losers 35-14 in front of a sold out crowd at fedex last year. This year, you managed to beat us once. Congradulations, you were one of the five we could beat this past year. If, by some miracle, the cows make the playoffs this year, maybe that **** of a quarterback of yours can actually hold on to the ball so you can lose in the second round by a thousand points. Funny how cowboys fans had nothing to say last year. Oh, and just in case you think the skins will **** next year, just remember that "Big D" gave up over 100 yards on the ground per game last year, and let up 12 rushing TD's, 3 more than the skins terrible d of last year, which will be good again. Just remember that after Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts, Brandon Jones, and Brian Westbrook all run straight up your ****. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!
