You know, for all the complaints about how 'This isn't news' or 'really fannation?' or 'Why are you putting this crap up?' You guys have all clicked on it and taken the time to make a comment, it's not hard to figure out why FN puts it up with reactions like this. If you want them to stop posting tripe, here's an idea...

STOP READING IT, STOP CLICKING ON IT, START COMPLETELY IGNORING IT.

Thank you.

They're just trying the Antonio Gates theory. I hope it works out, being a Packer fan, but really... aren't there enough FOOTBALL players out there?
Posted Monday March 30, 2009, About: Jets safety: Cutler has big head
There is a difference between 'Trash Talk' and 'Chirping'. Trash talk is a time honored tradition that usually involves an insightful comment about someone's poor play, or your own excellence. Chirping typically refers to non-topical and inane commentary that serves only to insult.

Um, first woman? Really? I think the infamous Georgia Frontiere might have something to say about that.

You do make a point though, the 'spirit' of the Rooney Rule is good, it's an effort, but it's flawed with how obvious some hires are. It would be a good thing to get some minorities into the Front Office, as that would likely lead to better results, as well as a minority owner.
Posted Tuesday November 18, 2008, About: NFL considers modifying replay rules
But how much of that 66 million would be offset by what was lost by those on the other side? The betting angle has nothing to do with HOW much money was won or lost, but who stood to win or lose. As far as the replay system, personally I don't feel that ANY official on the field in the heat of the moment should be involved, give Replay power to the booths, and let THEM make the calls, if a challenge is issued or it's a critical juncture. Who cares about the length of the game, so long as it's right? Besides, how many of you ACTUALLY sit through an entire game? I've usually got some of the guys over and other stuff is going on, so the length doesn't matter. Be honest with yourself about this, accuracy is the most important thing in these situations.

HAH! Ya'll at A&M better hope this doesn't come true, Sherman is a wreck in terms of talent evaluation and coaching skills.

Great guy though, I don't think you'll have to worry about any rules violations while enduring 2 and 10 seasons for the duration of his stay.

ZZZZing.
Posted Tuesday November 20, 2007, About: Jets fans perform lewd halftime show
The Jets do this...The Pats coach cheats and wears a cut-off hoodie...the Dolphins can't win a game...I guess that leaves the Bills as the only classy team in the AFC East!!

Pennstater | 11/20/07

Too bad the fans are complete animals. I speak from experience of going to the games, they are borderline out of control.
Posted Tuesday November 20, 2007, About: Jets fans perform lewd halftime show
Nothing surprises me anymore, there's a reason that I no longer attend football games in person.

The fans at the games are ungodly obnoxious, and not just at Jets games.
Posted Monday November 19, 2007, About: Carr-Miles rift altering UM search?
Why would Miles leave LSU???? I don't care if he was a "michigan man"
he's got something good going at LSU. Could ask to be highest paid coach in NCAA.
I bet he wouldn't lose to the WARHAWKS!!

Sexton | 11/18/07

Doesn't matter, if he wants the Michigan job, he'll take the Michigan job. Might end up the wrong choice, but some people view a certain job as their 'DREAM JOB' and won't look at it rationally, it's blindness on our part if we don't expect our coaches to be looking for their 'big job' unless they already have it IE: Paterno or Bowden.

OFF TOPIC!

Why hasn't Green Bay offered a 1st or 2nd round pick to SD for Michael Turner!
Posted Thursday October 18, 2007, About: McGahee on Buffalo's most hated list
Really? Seems like the worst part of their season has been the fact that Losman was not injured.

chaz0717 | 10/18/07

Um, way to pay attention to the league champ, Losman has been hurt the last several weeks!

Oh, and by the way, he's out as the starter now anyway - at least this week - Trent Edwards officially got the nod, and the team will be better for it.

If you're gonna speak up, make sure you know what you're talking about.
Posted Wednesday September 26, 2007, About: T.O. wants to forget overdose
Judging by how quiet he's been since that incident, and how his performance has improved, and (At least from a distance) his attitude as well, I actually believe him. I think TO has finally grown up - I also think it's too late. His career will be over in a few short years unless he discovers the Jerry Rice fountain of youth (Possible), but if this isn't a mirage, he's won me back some.
Posted Tuesday September 25, 2007, About: Vick faces indictment in Virginia
Here's a novel idea, if we all stop paying attention, maybe he'll go away.

He's not worth this kind of drawn out argument or coverage from where I'm sitting.
Posted Tuesday September 25, 2007, About: Possible Vikings trade targets
This has to be one of the stupidest things I've read on the Internet in the last week.

I'm thinking whoever wrote it plays a little too much Madden 08
Posted Wednesday August 15, 2007, About: Vick to keep fighting charges
Well, with all these witnesses stacking up against him, it sounds like we can remove the 'allegedly' tag from what Michael Vick did, and that now makes me say...

Time for a Lifetime Ban from the NFL, and if I were the Feds I wouldn't LET him Plea, hit him with the book, drive him into the ground and grind the monster into dust.

Michael Vick is -done-.

Drury's not going anywhere, mark my words. He's retiring a Sabre, 7 years from now.
Posted Monday June 04, 2007, About: Flyers, Habs to chase Briere
Brier will be missed here in Buffalo to be sure, but after his vanishing act in the post season, Montreal or Philly is more than welcome to him.
