Doug Wilson is all bluster. Why didn???t he file tampering charges against the Jackets when they revealed their trade talks with him over Ehrhoff? He???s done nothing to shake up his team except disgard the has beens like Roenick and Lemieux, and dead weights like Grier and Moen.

Sure, he???d like to move Cheechoo, but no one will take such damaged goods. I guess he???d like to move Michalek, another over-paid, underachiever. Nabakov and Marleau are good players in the last year of their contracts, so naturally anyone would like to move them or get nothing in return.

What???s a front running team anyway? Is that the same as puck possesion? Everyone knows the Sharks have quick skaters, but Jumbo Joe purposely slows the pace once he gets the puck so he can slide one of those beautiful passes to Marleau and Setoguchi. Everyone knows he won???t shoot the puck or crash the net, so the Sharks are eliminated year after year because of his one dimensional play, so easily neutralized once the second season starts. Sure Heater wants to play with him since he???s Spezza on steroids and that would allow him to pad his stats, the selfish creep.

That???s just what the Sharks need to get over the hump, more magicians good at dissapearing acts.

I hope he fires himself first. Surrounding the core with colorful
wheezers instead of young, hungry kids was a disasterous mistake. It
was his mistake alone. Thinking his new coach could work wonders with
this cast in one season was unrealistic. The process now needs to be
considered a three year plan. He can save his anger for himself.

There's something else going on; I see three sticks but only TC and Pickles.

I any case, the Sharks need a centerman, and TC would be a great fit.

Can't wait to get back to San Jose

I hope he does go to Toronto and takes Jiggy, Pronger and the Niedermayers with him.

Farceberg and the Avs are most likely going to face the Sharks in the 1st round.

He better cover his groin with his glove and tape up that ankle with Kevlar. They will be targets for the boys in Teal, without a shadow of a doubt.

Good one BoBo.

This is old, old news. How can this qualify as a new rumor?
Posted Wednesday March 12, 2008, About: Predators coach on hot seat
I want him there forever. Preds vs Sharks in the playoffs is an automatic first round sweep for the Sharks.
Posted Friday March 07, 2008, About: Senators eyeing Campbell
Brian is rooming with his childhood friend Joe Thornton, staying at Joe's house in San Jose and together in hotels on the road. There is zero chance that Campbell is going anywhere in the post season. What Joe wants, Joe gets in San Jose. Doug Wilson will pay through his nose to keep him.
Posted Monday March 03, 2008, About: Lidstrom dismisses Internet rumors
I want the Wings back at full strength and firing on all cylinders so that the Sharks can exact full revenge for last year's ousting. Good luck Lidstrom. We want you back real soon.

We aren't crying. Campbell is a better fit.
Posted Monday February 25, 2008, About: Bad blood between Sabres, Flyers
Marleau would be a good fit for an eastern conference team like Buffalo. He's more of a north-south player and doesn't fit the dump and chase east-west perimeter game in San Jose. Campbell will thrive anywhere. Marleau plus a draft pick or two and it looks like a good fit.
Posted Monday February 25, 2008, About: Sundin refuses Red Wings offer
Why wouldn't a player want to escape the pressure cooker of Toronto for a team with a shot at the Cup? If it's true that SJ is will to give up on Carle so early, plus some picks, that's good long-term for the 'Leafs. Carle is likely to become another Campbell in a year or two. Beside's Mats, you can always pull a Doug Weight and return to your team in the off season if you don't like life with Thornton, Michalek, and Cheecho.
Posted Monday February 25, 2008, About: Sharks desperate to make deal
Matt Carle is having a sophomore slump. His offense has disappeared by comparison with his rookie campaign, and he consistently gets beat by fast skaters as though he was flat-footed or simply not paying attention. His potential will only be realized in year four or five, whereas Campbell's potential is now fully developed. Throw in Marleau and it looks like a good trade for Buffalo and SJ is overpaying for a short-term Cup push.
Posted Wednesday February 20, 2008, About: Leafs don't like Sundin offers
San Jose says Marleau and Pavelski and 2 second rounders. It's a great offer. Take it or leave it Leafs. Bernier is now off the table. Michalek is a non-starter. Now that the train is rolling, forget Cheecho.
Posted Tuesday February 19, 2008, About: What Leafs want for Sundin
Oops, I forgot. Keenan is taken. Sigh. Shoot.. I should have pulled that trigger earlier.

Who then? RW must go.

I know. Hartley. He'll do nicely.
Posted Tuesday February 19, 2008, About: What Leafs want for Sundin
@bostongm

I can't see both Bernier AND Marleau for Sundin. Especially since I'm about to fire Ron Wilson and replace him with Keenan. Marleau will emerge from his slump once RW, whom he hates, is gone.

If they really want two offensive players, they can have Bernier and Pavelski.

Best,

Doug Wilson
