MVP MVP MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you get that chant in SAC TOWN when you play for the LAKERS????? By being the BEST in the League, The Best Offensive Weapon seen in YEARS (and yes, b4 even Jordan; Im talkin Wilt)

Of course it's about the best chance to win a ring...why do you think we call him a WARRIOR? Because he is playing for the LOVE OF THE GAME, not the $$$$$
Posted Friday February 15, 2008, About: Kobe to play through injury
Not a Warrior? I'll respect your right of an opinion, but can I ask you then, WHAT kind of athlete IS labeled that way then? Don't look only at THIS injury, but his career period. ALWAYS PLAYS THROUGH INJURIES.

I hear ya Skybill40, but he did average 30+ in the last games he played...
Posted Friday February 15, 2008, About: Kobe to play through injury
Trying to get sympathy???? Your even dumber than your name! HE didn't run to every media outlet and say "HEY, MY FINGER IS DISLOCATED, AND I HAVE A TORN LIGAMENT, BUT I AM STILL PLAYING!!!" What an idiot! You are the true JOKE that people talk about when they discuss irrational thought. Next time, put more deliberation in your argument than you put in your name!

Ignorance is so pathetic! Is it really that serious that you feel the need to curse and be vulger??? Did YOU get a finger when you were a Child??!! Do you have some secret issue with phalanges???? Cry a river and blow it out your Rectum!! Hows that?! And Mr Adidas, thank you for "Amening" my notion, but please, read a little more in depth...I said he IS TRUTH, not he is THE truth. But I will definitely agree with you; I bet he would still play, and play at the level he does now, even if he was paid the salary of a high school teacher.

THIS is a PERFECT example of a WARRIOR. Not only does he not want to have surgery NOW, but even after the season is over, he wants to wait until the Olympics are over. AAAAAAAALLLLLLL you people who want to give him a hard time about this or that, remember this: Lebron sat over a week when he broke a nail; Shaq faked an injury to get out of MIA; DWade has finally realized that the floor doesn't feel ANY of his falls, but HE still does, and his career is half ruined for it; EVEN KG is sitting out! Give the man his respect...HE is Truth...HE is Heart...HE is...MAMBA!!!!! Ok, that was a little dramatic, but Kobe has more love for the game than ANY other player currently on a Roster

Oh yea...0 for 11 on the day that you had to be the burdern bearer and say, Sorry Kidd, but not in my house! He will bounce back and play back at par...watch me now!
Posted Thursday February 14, 2008, About: Why George nixed Kidd trade
Lets cut the man some slack eh?! Who would want to leave a Finals contender to go to a team who is struggling to make the PLAYOFFS in the EAST??? He already won a ring (2 if my memory is correct), and he DOES have that VET mindset that Dallas needs. What the hell is wrong with people and disassembling the Mavs???????! This same team was the best record last year, and they have a good record this year! They had a melt-down last year with Dirk not being able to handle the MVP talk pressure, and folded. He is more composed this year (hopefully) and should do better. Why isn't anyone considering trading Dirk for another Big Time? That, I believe, if they melt down again, will or should happen by Cuban. The team is young, and has room for maturity. But to say that DG is terrible, and this and that is rediculous. No, he's no KB, no DWade, no Lebron...hell he isn't a Vince Carter ( who I believe is a great player, but no heart, which is why he can't win)...but he is a Good role player who could contribut to a Finals roster. Good Call DG, you probably saved the franchise. Kidd is a GREAT HOF, he DID lead the Nets 2x (against my LA team who NOBODY could have beaten, otherwise, they probably would have at least 1 ring). But, Dallas doesn't need him. Stop getting excited. Gasol is here now, and that was LA's X factor that we needed after Bynum came into his own. The league is sown up now. We will be repeating for at least 2 years. Too bad, bcause I like Garnett too. You heard it here first

I've never seen a player be this big play like he's so little. This is the same league that EARL BOYKINS plays in...

BTW--Winner??? The Heat have the worst record in the LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!! What a fool!! Lakers? Lead the West! Who's the winner?!
Posted Tuesday January 15, 2008, About: Lakers in market for big man
WOW!! Simple Minded Fellow! Cmon Silly, the case was dismissed, the woman changed her story, had relations with MORE THAN 1 PERSON ALREADY THAT NIGHT, and LIED THROUGH HER TEETH!!! I mean, sure, if the story had ANY weight, maybe it would have been at least something to talk about, but it didn't, doesn't, and won't! We are not discussing the personality aspect; we are speaking about Basketball Talent. That is the problem with those who don't give Kobe his deserved respect: Their own irrational emotions get involved. Too bad...instead of witnessing one of the Greats, you must miss it due to your own inadequacies! Not me though!

It never amazes me how people STILL complain about an overweight center who lost his drive years ago, and was fortunate enough to be paired with a Rising Superstar (who BTW won Finals MVP) in the Very UnderAchieving Eastern Conference, and got another ring. Shaq in the Western Conference, Shaq still with 3 rings. Bottom Line. The Lakers LEAD the WEST RIGHT NOW. Bynum is going to be great, and has been playing very well, but lets not forget who the team is built around: The Best Player in the League. Record may drop a LITTLE, but have no worries...We still CAN WIN THE WEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To hardly call is still to call, so you have nullified your argument yourself. Enough said.
Posted Tuesday January 08, 2008, About: Kobe's staying with Lakers
Riiiiiight...Skybill40, when you come up with an ESPN job (a senior editorial position, not a janitorial one), and devise a formula which identifies the best team week by week, then post that...Till then, your just typing nonsense.
Posted Tuesday January 08, 2008, About: Kobe's staying with Lakers
Last thing...Stop Hating on the games BEST player...BY FAR!!!!!!!!!!! Lebron admitted it, almost any player in the league will admit it, anyone with basketball knowledge will admit it. NO player can do what he has/is done/doing. Offensively, MJ himself didn't do some of the things Kobe has done. MJ was a lock on D, and Kobe is working towards that. Win a playoff series? Nash won back to back MVPs, and never in his CAREER reached the Finals!!!!!!!!! Get serious...MVPis a Popularity contest, which Kobe cannot win since the trial. Oh yea, and Jay620...same team? Almost, when you compare names only...same team talent wise? Not quite!! Proof?! Were you as good at your best talent 3 years after you continued practicing? I'll answer for you.............NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like your points, but I must disagree with 2 things kmahl...1) we have the best, deepest bench in the leaque, 2) We MUST keep Farmar, Phil Jackson is a Genius...he has created a Primary team, a Secondary team, and tossed in a few subs. The P team and S team are BOTH lethal. Farmar is the heart and sole of the S team (with the exception of Odom occasionaly playing on the S team also). Our only weak link is Kwame...and only bcause he is soft. If he had more heart, Im not sure that he Wouldn't be a dominate force in the league. Since he doesn't have that, he is a bust. Bottom line, Turiaf and Ariza are going to be great for us, we are getting stronger every game, and Every team in the league fears playing us in the playoffs due to the UNKNOWN CAPABILITY that Bynum will demonstrate by then

PS...Beware, Kobe already won 3 Titles when combined with a dominate center...He already knows how to win when paired with one, that is the X Factor
Posted Tuesday January 08, 2008, About: Kobe's staying with Lakers
A deal like that would NEVER be possible unless we let go of KEY players. Of course we would take a BG or Manu for KWAME "Hold us Down" BROWN...but that is NOT going to happen bcause noone is STUPID enough to do that. We already have, admit it or not, one of the elite teams in the League. Only thing stopping a run to the Finals is the injury bug. Check ESPN, we are ranked THREE!!!!!! We have performed outstanding when Kobe is cold, we have competed with all the great teams with the exception of Boston, and have one of the Leagues best records...playoff contenders? You Better Believe it!!!

Kobe Fisher
Odom Bynum Ariza

Kobe did what he had to do to motivate his teammates/organization to catch up with his passion for championships. If Bynum keeps maturing and can be consistent, there would not be a bigger three in the game...not the Boston Pea Party, not the Phoenix Crumbs, and not even the San Antonio Purrs
