Oh I know there are some of em that can't keep their mouths shut...no doubt about it LGP..LOL...I just wish they'd learn a little humility.. I've been a fan of the Wings since before Stevie Y ever put on the Winged Wheel...so I know that there were days when the Wings just flat out sucked....the newbies to the fanbase are so used to winning they can't fathom not being on top.
My apologies for the idiots that think it's a conspiracy or that the Pens got lucky....that isn't the case and anyone who actually KNOWS hockey could see that.
LOL to the "avatar"....that's in honor of YOUR PENS...I'll keep it on for a couple weeks....YOU GUYS EARNED IT !!! Again Congrats to the Pens and their fans!!!!

he didn't get suspended for faking an injury you moron.
it was an automatic suspension for one game for missing the All Star weekend.
it was a technicality...not a faked injury.
you should read the league rules before making yourself look like an even bigger moron than you already do.

I POSTED THIS ON THE LIDSTROM THREAD AS WELL...as a Wings fan some of the comments made about the Pens..refs...and their fans just p+isses me off!!

You know..to blame the whole thing on missed calls by the refs is just moronic. There were a LOT of missed calls both ways. It's always great to see the calls get made FOR your team and terrible if they're called AGAINST I guess?? You gotta be able to take the good with the bad. Was I screaming at my TV a few times? YES, but there were times when I was also going "holy crap how did we get away with that?"

It's always good to see the rational Pens and Wings fans here, and fans of other teams that show some sportsmanship and an actual TRUE knowledge of the game. To the guys that call Crosby "cindy" and to the guys that say the Wings get all the calls... the fanatics that think no matter what that their team is always getting screwed and it's a conspiracty......take a long walk off a short pier will ya. Real fans of either team step up just like the players and shake hands and congratulate the winners. I tip my hat to the Pens and their TRUE fans enjoy the Summer with the CUP and we'll see ya again in the Fall. OH and I changed my avatar just in honor of the PENS CUP....I'll leave it for a week or so...just to congratulate you!!!

Great Post...that's exactly IT!!! They don't get involved in the "send a message" game. It's not their style. The only thing that counts to them is on the scoreboard at the end of the game. And from a farrrrr previous post...nope...you won't se Kocur or Probert types again...and other teams are glad of that no doubt...in their prime there isn't a guy playing today could stand with either of them...well Probert maybe...but Kocur would laugh at LaRoque..then knock him out

Pavel had a major impact on that game. It was also combined with the Pens playing like they were the Blue Jackets after one period. They pretty much fell apart after that first period. As a Wings fan I don't count on that happening again. Don't be suprised if this is back at the Joe for game 7.

Anyway...great game last nite Pens.
As one of the Wings fans that said this was not a done deal that game goes to prove it.
They outplayed the Wings for almost the whole game and deserved the win.
As for the too many guys on the ice...I was laughing my butt off more than offended.
On that note...what the hell was the Wings bench paying attention to..if you notice not one of them is saying anything ....maybe they can't count either!!!
