Some of should just stop, you are not animal lovers, you are just DOG LOVERS, its so pathetic to hear grown men (hopefully you are) sit on a message board and whine like little school girls. I think the majority of it is derived from an inferioty complex a lot of you so called tough guys have due to your lack of any form of athletic, financial prowess. Yes what Vick did was a crime, and he should be punished applicable under law. Do you morons not understand that 99% of convicted dog fighters serve no time at all! I am not saying Vick should not do his time, but to say he deserves a life punsihment, while murderers, **** and even child molesters get second chances in life is absurd. Whenever I need a good laugh from a bunch of lames, I come to this board and just read a thread, and trust me I am never disappointed. A bunch of you spewing hatred and ridicule, and trying to defend themselves as so called animal lovers, when in reality you are more of a hypocrite than anything else. I despise dog fighting, actually any kind of animal fighting, but I also believe that if society can forgive murders, ****, and in some cases sex offenders then we can forgive dog fighters. Vick can do more to help curtail dogfighting than anyone at PETA right now, part of his sentence should be mandatory PSA's denouncing dog fighting, not to mention a lot of community service, furthermore he should visit schools, CA meetings and other areas talking about how dogfighting is wrong and how it can screw up your life.....Question what have you done lately to prevent animal abuse? What money have you donated to animal rights causes? Look in the mirror, and ask yourself, "Have I done wrong and been forgiven?" Or I am perfect? Have I made bad judgements in my life, but received another opportunity for redemption?
Posted Tuesday August 21, 2007, About: Vick out of NFL action until 2010?
I am just curous. First let me say, by his admission he is guilty and once Vick pays his debt society he should be allowed to work again. All this lifetime ban stuff is ridiculous, I do not recall any fans calling for Leonard Little to be banned for life, and he took a life due to his poor judgement. How many of you were crusading for dogs prior to this, would you all be up in arms if Joe Blow from Utah was accused of dog fighting? Probably not....Look Vick is guilty, but people have done far worse things to other people and received less criticism. He screwed up, too much loyalty to his friends, and not enough to himself. He really had no choice but to plea, he had 4 guys testifying against him, all guys at one point he trusted in the wrong way, and supported them in something stupid....Look Vick was not in it for the money, but probably for some foolsih street cred and so called keeping it real persona that plagues many young athletes. Now he is going to pay his debt, but if the law does not ask for life, then neither should the league.
Posted Wednesday June 06, 2007, About: Will Dolphins cut Culpepper loose?
If I am not mistaken Culpepper had his best statistical year when Moss was injured, And whats wrong with throwing the deep ball? If you dont like Culpepper because you are some washed up loser who couldnt throw a ball to save your life is one thing, but to critcize him because he throws the deep ball well (which is the on theing Phins are lacking) is just lame. The one thing he is guilty of, is rushing back from is injury, imo he should have taken more time. The guy tore his knee completly apart, so one should expect him to lose a step, but the unfounded hate by some of you is ridiculous. If anything they need to keep him, because Green is barely put together and is one hit from being cuckoo again. Also take note he numbers took a dip when Linehan Minny for Miami, and he never got the shot to work with him again....stop the hate, it makes you sound like a bunch of losers.....

.....some of you act as if Zeke stole your girl or something. All gm's have scouting depts, but Zeke does not get credit for his NY draft picks? WTF? If the pick is bad he gets blamed, but if its good he receives no credit. NY was lucky - They had a good enough season to keep Chicago far away from the top of the draft, and if Lee did not go down, it would have been further. NY has the player Chicago needs - a center, that score in the post. I sorta liked the trade, but I wish it would have been lottery protected. Tyrus Thomas is good, but he would be better in the open floor, with GSTATE, Phoenix, or New Orleans - not sure what the Bulls will get this season, but would not be suprised if they dealt the pick for Gasol or Randolph...basically Zeke got lucky, last year's draft was not strong, and Curry made enough strides to keep NY out of the top three this year......

A large portion of the Knicks cap woes was a direct result of Allan Houston's deal, and to some degree strapped Zeke. However being under the cap, only gives you the chance to overpay for some scrub, because most of the players that will make a difference are already locked up with their original teams. The only two impact FA signings i can remember is Shaq (when he went to LA) and to some degree NAsh (although he has not won a title). So all this cap talk, can just go away. You recruit and trade for players that can work in your system. NY turned the corner this year, and will be better next year. NY has a legit center, who is only gonna get better, a solid double double guy in Lee, and other young pieces. If he can dump the logjam in the backcourt for Gerald Wallace or Lewis, then go for it, add a shooter via draft, or a shot blocker.....and NY will be a little more balanced as a team...

The Knicks were good for so long, and Layden did a poor job of building off of that success. All the Knicks problems began with Ewings trade, and the Allan Houston deal. Without those two gaffes, i doubt if things would be as bad. Patience is what fans of the Knicks need, this team was a mess when Zeke picked it up, now he has mades some strange moves, James, Francis (although most know that was LB's wish) and to an extent the signing of Jeffries. NY needs to add some defense in the post, shot blocker, and a shooter. Another summer for Curry should do wonders for him. IMO there are more positives than negatives, and if David Lee and JC were healthy NY wouldhave been in the playoffs last season...
Posted Friday May 18, 2007, About: Big men on Bulls' draft radar
Bulls should try and get Randolph from Portland.....and add another shooter. Hinrich is inconsistent at the point, so I would defintiely look for some add help there....I think Magloire is available also.....
Posted Friday May 18, 2007, About: Can Warriors afford to keep Jackson?
If GS wants to be back in the playoffs they will need Jackson, he defends, shoots, plays feriously, and is passionate and loyal sometimes to a fault, put him in a situation where he is winning, and you will never know he is there. The blowups in the playoffs were exaggerated and only resulted in technical fouls, after that intial blowup in game 2 vs Dallas, we did not hear anything else from him. He can ball, plain and simple. GS should keep him....but if not several teams will be lining up to get him..
Posted Wednesday May 09, 2007, About: Schilling: Bonds cheated the game
i said nothing about the legality of steroids,- i said if we are gonna not recognize Bonds HR's then we have a lot of other things we need to change in Baseball's record books...
Posted Wednesday May 09, 2007, About: Schilling: Bonds cheated the game
wow a lot of losers here, No one can say with FACT that Bonds took roids, stop with all this big head stuff, everone's head gets bigger and face gets somewhat wider with age...that theory has more holes in it than I care to explain. Needless to say if baseball is not gonna recognize Bonds with the record, then we need to erase baseball as a sport for the past 6-10 years. Take away Oakland's world series, all the DBACK wins with Grimsley, just let it go.....Bonds seems to be the only target of all you roid haters, no one talks about all the other guys who have been busted, just seems to me its all on Bonds and no one else...I guess he is the only athlete ever to alledgely have taken steroids....
Posted Monday May 07, 2007, About: Knicks eyeing Garnett, O'Neal
David Lee will not be traded, once he got hurt along with JC the Knicks went down hill...Frye, and Nate will be the first offered up, along with Rose, and James if anyone will take him...

...if Stafford was an black I doubt if everyone would be blowing this over, but its ok he did nothing worng, but be honest if this was someone from the U, or UT it would have been blown way up..
Posted Sunday May 06, 2007, About: Quinn's new 'do & new agent?
Its the Dolphins fault? Its his agents fault...How about Quinn..If he was a better player then he would have went #1....If he is good as people say he is, he will be starting soon, and will be able to renegotiate his deal real soon........
Posted Sunday May 06, 2007, About: Culpepper's status, Fins QB of future
Culpepper deserves a shot. He was not healthy and rushed back last season. Saban should have held him out longer.....Green is really no better than Culpepper.......If Cam canget some consitency out of this offense, the Fish can possibly contend for second place. Remember Ronnie Brown is an excellent receiver for a RB, and I can see Cam doing some solid things with him ala LT in San Diego.....
Posted Sunday May 06, 2007, About: Bengals Johnson trash talks rookies
settle down Fonzie...chad was just having some fun with a rookie.....and trust me Glenn is not a better receiver than TO, not as physical, and his route running is not as precise...plus TO is a workaholic, keeps himself in peak condition, plays hurt, and gives 100% in the game..
Posted Sunday May 06, 2007, About: Mavericks shakeup starts at guard?
they had Nash and got no title, how does keeping him make a difference? Dallas just got beat by a team that was quicker, more focused, and hungry. Dallas as a team is soft, they could have used and extra shooter, and some quicker perimeter defenders...
Posted Sunday May 06, 2007, About: Knicks eyeing Garnett, O'Neal
KG will end up in the Eastern conference, but not in Detroit..well because they dont need him, they have Sheed and Tayshaun. I could see him in NJ...they have the best chance, they can offer up RJ, another player and some picks. Dont discount the Cavs, and never discount the Knicks, they have enough young players to at least warrant attention from Minnesota....
Posted Thursday May 03, 2007, About: Michael Vick's link to pit bull breeder
Vick has to learn to leave his friends behind and forget about the street crediabilty so many young African American athletes desire. He has made it and must realize all the work and committment will be wasted if he does not get it together soon. It will be unfortunate because he is a rare talent that just needs to grow up and become his own man.
Posted Wednesday May 02, 2007, About: Dolphins rethinking Culpepper move?
If Daunte is healthy the Fins have a solid QB, give him an adequate line, ala Manning, Brady and a solid receiver ala Harrison, and Branch..and Culpepper can deliver, its unfortuate he had a tough injury, and rushed back too soon. Culpepper when healthy is easy a top 10 QB in the league.......stop hatin, with opinions, and hate with fact.
Posted Wednesday May 02, 2007, About: One reason behind Keyshawn's cut
Please - Jake threw way more than one interception all year, and in my opinion had a terrible all around year. Yet Key gets cut because he does not take the blame for Jake's mistake. Key made a break and ut was apparent him and Jake was just not on the same page. Put it like this I saw Jake make far more mistakes over the season than Keyshawn did, Dont let your disdain for Key stand in the way Jake had a subpar season as well, but he did not get cut
Posted Tuesday May 01, 2007, About: Bucs' No. 1 pick possible holdout?
Mattman..take a chill pill. Did Gaines take your first born or something? They need to get the max uppfront because at anytime a team can release a player or an injury could end their career....Get as much as you can.
