Good thing they did not look past them. Not sure why anyone thinks Michigan is better than Wisconsin anyways.

Rivera? that Rivera, the one who is on his last leg as a closer?...So shop them all around Scotty, but be careful, without the Yankees to over pay these guys, they just might receive what they are worth.

I agree about the team not picking up linebackers. The ones out there are no better than what they have. For better or worse, the team they have ow is the team they will have this season. The only thing they can do is to try to "coach them up" Not good news for a head coach, but is the reality of it all.

He is right. It will not change a thing on blocking schemes teams use against him. He is the teams premiere defensive end and has been for two years. It should make it easier for someone else to have some success on the other end, whoever it is. You can't double team everybody.

Strahan will play. He never thought he needed much camp time anyways. I think he has a point, but he did sign the contract. If I were the GM I would meet him half way. I would add some incentives to his contract that he could only get by having a good year. The Giants have cap money to use and I would rather see a player who has performed for a long period of time for the team get it than someone who has never done a thing for them. He sees players like underacheiving Leonard Davis get big bucks and nobodies like Shancoe get big paydays and of course he says, hey, wait a minute. If he really thiks he still can be that good, then he can prove it and earn the money with added incentives. Fifteen years is a lot of time to give to the team.
