Pitch count cannot be applied generically. Every individual is going to have a different limit. So, if you know a guy always has a terrible next outing after a 110 pitch game you limit him at 100-105. You can't just apply the same number to everyone.
Same here. I had five on my lower back over a two year period. Dealing with if physically is the easy part. It's very depressing not knowing if you're going to need another. I hope he keeps his head together and gets back on the field.
What's crazy is he already had given them a bunch of money and was probably going to keep it up during his career. But it wasn't enough for these greedy leeches. Good for Smith! If you can't trust family, who can you trust? Hopefully he will be able to trust his advisers without them trying to swindle him too.
I haven't seen a lot of Nats games, but what I have seen of Harper is impressive. It's like he is a machine designed purely to play baseball. He just needs some minor adjustments to his programming.
Arguing demonstratively with cops and umpires never ends well. He will continue to mature a be able to check his emotions. He seems to made progress in that area already.
As much as I dislike all the drama that surrounds Tebow, I kinda feel bad for him. The Jets pretty much **** him over by not let him play when Sanchez was sucking as usual. At least he could have proved he's worthless on his own. He's done now and deserved at least a second chance after what he showed in Denver.
