Seems like you're the only one that remembers him that way. I'm gonna go with "who cares". I'd rather spend time with him, than you.

I'm sorry but you seem to be devoid of any intelligence. Your conversation would be anything but intelligent.

My favorite...
"I'm not a racist but..." and "The nfl was well respected and watched before it was desegrigated"

First of all l2spell. Secondly, nobody except for racists call for segregation.

LOL@you.

Posted Monday May 25, 2009, About: Gasol unsure Rubio will enter draft
No offense but for people who claim to follow sports so many of you commenting never really display any type of knowledge at all.

First of all, stop blaming players who get asked idiotic questions and reply the best that they can as if they're running around looking for attention from the likes of you idiots.

Next, about this particular article. It's Rubio's team that's playing hardball. He makes just under $100,000 a year right now and they're demanding an $8m buyout of his contract. I'm not sure how most of you would feel about paying 80 times your current salary to change jobs but that's a pretty significant chunk of change.

Finally, if I were looking at the best way to succeed in the NBA, playing for Memphis would not be high on my list. He'd be fortunate to drop to number 4 or 5 and get picked up by the Kings or Wizards. Both teams with a shot at winning some games in the next year or two.
Posted Saturday January 10, 2009, About: Scouts: Tebow an NFL star--or a bust
Just because the system he plays in right now isn't suited for the NFL doesn't mean that the guy can't do it. I'm sure that there are a lot of QB's that did quite well that the know-it-alls on T&R would have called busts prior to taking their first NFL snap. Doug Flutie comes to mind. I'm also sure none of you predicted Tom Brady greatness and would have gone ballistic if a rumor had been printed saying Cassel was going to be a top QB sometime.

By the way, the author of this article does indeed contradict himself "Others project him as a future fullback or linebacker at the next level" and then going on to say "quicker and stronger and safeties see quarterbacks coming in their direction as fresh meat". I'm not sure too many safeties are salivating at the chance to hit a fullback and especially a linebacker.

Why does a 21 month old kid need to go to school anyway? Wasn't the issue also the fact that he didn't even bother to call? How many of us can just miss work without so much as calling in and then show up to tell them we'd do it again?
Posted Thursday July 31, 2008, About: Is Joe Pa in trouble at Penn State?
Well, if anyone would be an expert on a coach that fails a morality sniff test it would be an LSU fan. After all the Saban excuses it isn't hard at all to just go to the book and grab a few for Paterno.
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Is Joe Pa in trouble at Penn State?
NWPA, your analogy is flawed but even if we use it you most certainly could be fired from your job for getting arrested. You're an obvious Jo Pa fanboi though so I don't really take any of your comments as relevant. The ones that make sound points are the ones that never really cared either way about Paterno and can look at this without a prejudice one way or another.
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Is Joe Pa in trouble at Penn State?
I watched this episode of OTL and before seeing it I never had a real opinion of Paterno but he left me with a sour feeling. He used the word "witch hunt" several times when confronted with hard questions to make it sound like he was being targeted and to take the focus off of the actual question. It was also plainly evident that he was lying when he said he doesn't know how to use a computer or text message. Maybe he didn't send those messages out but he knew about it and didn't try to stop it. He probably even told someone to do it. He came across as an arrogant prick and I lost all respect for him.
Posted Wednesday July 23, 2008, About: Giants: We deserve more respect
Well, admittedly I'm not old enough to have seen many of the earlier superbowls but out all the ones I've seen, I'm 29, this is definitely the worst "team". I'm not talking about the game itself. They were flawless against the Pats.

Without the knowledge of what the Pats had done after their superbowl win against the Rams I would have rated them as the luckiest/worst. I had no respect for that team either but they've gone on to become the premiere team in the NFL.

Time will tell, if the Giants perform strong for the next few years then I'll have to give it to them and I'm sure my opinion will change.

Other contenders for worst SB winning team include Namath's Jets. Although I wasnt alive yet, from a research and historical perspective I'd have to say they're up there.
Posted Tuesday July 22, 2008, About: Giants: We deserve more respect
First, show me where I ever said "we" or "us" in one of my posts attempting to make it seem as if I'm on the team. You'll be looking for a long while b/c I haven't. Nice try though. I see the type of person you are already, shooting your mouth off without any facts.

Second, I see you're from Tampa, so may I assume you're a Bucs fan? If so, would you be saying the same thing if they, as a wild card team, went to the SB and beat the Pats? I don't think you would. And since the Giants are a "crap team" according to you, what does that make the Bucs whom the Giants beat in the first round? In your opinion, the Giants are "the worst SB winning team ever," but no one cares about your opinion, it doesn't matter here.

If you're not a Bucs fan, I'm curious as to who is your favorite team. I'm not going to say who I think your favorite team is if it isn't the Bucs, I'll just wait and see if I'm right.

Actually, my apologies I read a comment by NYfootball and placed it to you.
No, I didn't think Tampa had any right playing in the Superbowl last year and had they made it I would have been pissed. They weren't even the best team in the division but made the playoffs because the Saints couldn't get it going in the beginning of the season.
That doesn't make the Giants run any less of a fluke. They were by far the worst team to ever win a superbowl. Good for them but to **** about a lack of respect is stupid. It's obvious by that lack of respect that most of the country agrees they shouldn't have been there.
To the person who said the team belongs to the fans--you're right but you're wrong. When you say "we ran for 200 yards" then it sounds like you were a part of that run. Running from the bleachers to the bathroom does not count as an official stat so leave the we's out of it.
Posted Monday July 21, 2008, About: Giants: We deserve more respect
NY Giants, you talk as if you're on the team. Stop saying "we" and "us" unless you can tell me what position you play. Face it dude, the Giants were the worst SB winning team ever. That's the problem with wild cards. Any crap team can get on a lucky streak and win a championship.
Posted Sunday July 20, 2008, About: Giants: We deserve more respect
It was nothing more than an extremely lucky run that wouldn't have been possible if Shockey was on the field. I'm pretty sure he's healthy this year so the Giants may return to their regularly scheduled soap opera selves. I think they're the worst team to ever win a superbowl and it's a shame that the best team didn't win...3 times.
Posted Friday July 18, 2008, About: Why Yankees won't sign Bonds
So many comments by supposedly informed fans that show they really don't know anything at all.
To those commenting on the salary BB's agent has said that Barry will play for the league mimimum and donate it to charity. There goes your overpaid theory.

To those saying he should just admit it and everything will be okay. Well, maybe he should just admit it but the problem he has is that whole going to jail thing. He probably feels like he's in too deep now. He's got his lie and he's sticking with it.

I haven't heard one whisper that the Yankees are thinking of resigning Clemens. That's just more uninformed babble from people looking for reasons to hate something.

Barry would be a cancer to any locker room. Agree

He's probably not very good. I agree with that too. He's old and if he's off the juice he's more than likely worthless. Definitely not in baseball shape and 100% not worth the drama that he'd bring to your team.

Send him to a losing team- The only teams looking to add players right now are teams that are in contention. I don't think he'd be worth the risk/reward potential.

Please people, learn facts or at least base your opinions on something other than blind hatred for one team or blind love for another before you start posting.

Talks too much for an average tight end. Less QQ more pew pew Shockey.
Posted Sunday June 08, 2008, About: Shockey points finger at Giants
Shockey sucks anyway. His best season was his rookie year with only 74 catches. He's gone down every year since then. He's only a star because people looked at that first year and saw the potential that he's never lived up to.

You're far from gifted there kiddo. The girl was paid, her face was smeared all over the world and she received death threats from the Bryant camp. Kobe belongs in jail. I do agree he's the MVPlayer this year though as his stats show it. MVPerson though, never.

"The whole Yankee staff should be banned from baseball for life.

An asterisk should be put by their tittles from the 90's.

CHEATING SONS A BICHES"

You'd have to put an asterisk next to every team that's won one. The whole league is corrupt.
