I might even say that the level of competition is greater in track. Pretty much every school program in the WORLD has some kind of physical education program that involves running. I don't think swimming is all that popular (my high school didn't have a pool). To be the best runner is an amazing achievement.
I actually hate that statement. Until everyone runs a race backwards or sidewards or skips, then it isn't comparable to doing the butterfly, backstroke, etc. Bolt totally dominates (that is what the TD is about, isn't it?) in his 2 events, whereas Phelps came in 4th in one individual event.
I think Anna is kind of underrated in a way. She was the #1 doubles player in the world and got to like #8 in singles. If you're top 10 at your sport, you are pretty damn good. Her looks overshadowed the fact that she had game.
That was crazy stuff going on with the Cowboy snaps. Fortunately for Dallas, Rex Grossman showed his true colors once again. I was getting tired of how Gruden et al. kept praising him everytime he threw the ball out of bounds.
Anyway, Arian Foster has been disappointing for the #1 pick in a lot of drafts.
Bucs looked pretty outclassed by the Cards this past weekend (although they showed a lot of fight to win on Sunday). However, unless they can add another bat, I don't see it happening. I'm really hoping they win about 85-90 games, though.
Flacco is .688 so maybe I really am not making much of a point.
Brady - .780
Ben R. - .708
Peyton - .678
Rivers - .656
Romo - .610
Brees - .601
Vick - .588
Eli - .580
