Seemed like a pretty weak ejection. When a large guy and a tiny guy collide while both in the air, the tiny guy will lose.

Right, because buying tickets for the upcoming season is such a dumb idea. <sarcasm>
Posted Saturday July 21, 2012, About: Pirates scouting Cubs lefty
Starting pitching hasn't been the issue with the Cubs this year. It's a lack of timely hitting and bullpen meltdowns. Garza, Dempster, and Malholm can help any contender they are traded to.
Posted Friday July 20, 2012, About: Desperate Dodgers enter bidding war for Dempster
I believe they will. Dempster first, then Garza, then maybe Maholm, then maybe Soriano, then maybe Marmol...etc

That's just mean.
Posted Wednesday December 21, 2011, About: Scouts complete Red Sox-Cubs deal?
"Complete turmoil"....You have to be kidding. Sure they had a historic collapse at the end of the season, but the Red Sox are poised to be in contention for the next few years at least. I wish my team would be in "complete turmoil" if those are the results.
Posted Saturday December 03, 2011, About: Rose won't actively recruit free agents
The team's play last year will be enough to recruit any talent that may be out there and that the team may be able to afford. Rose's refusal to publicly recruit is a message to his team that he believes in them. Whether he is right or wrong about his current team's ability to win it all, he is simply backing his current teammates, which is what a true leader does. That is why he is loved and respected by his teammates and fans.
Posted Friday October 14, 2011, About: Martz bends to Cutler's request to protect him
Right on the money
Posted Tuesday August 23, 2011, About: Castro embarrassed in wake of benching
Castro is a very good, young player that did a really stupid, and dangerous thing. I like the fact that he apologized and said he felt embarrassed by it, which he should of course. Too many players give lame explanations for their stupid actions, while he at least owned up to it. Now if it keeps happening, then he, and the Cubs, would have a real problem.
Posted Tuesday August 09, 2011, About: Carcillo already wants a piece of Vancouver
If that turns out to be the case, the Hawks will simply not dress him. The Hawks have enough depth now that they can afford to sit a guy if he is out of control. Hated Carcillo with the Flyers, but am interested to see how his game will help the Hawks.

**will BE**
Posted Tuesday August 09, 2011, About: Votto on position change: Don't ask
Votto is a stud at 1st base. It will up to Alonso to learn either left field or 3rd base in the off-season.
Posted Thursday July 28, 2011, About: Edwards tweet suggests he's done in green
For some reason, Martz only wants WR's that are under 6 feet tall.
Posted Thursday July 28, 2011, About: La Russa: Rasmus doesn't listen to coaches
Doubtful.. The Cards are the only game in town down there. I think DeWitt could do more if he wanted to.
Posted Wednesday July 27, 2011, About: La Russa: Rasmus doesn't listen to coaches
Agree with the market size, but didn't the owner spend about 150 million for the team and then turn around and sell the parking garages for 90 million? So basically, he paid 60 million dollars for a great and historic franchise. The owner had money before the team, so why doesn't he spend his own money instead of relying of just what his market gives him?
Posted Wednesday July 27, 2011, About: Cards chasing four QB options
Not with the way Jerry Angelo has screwed up our 1st round picks in the past. Orton is soild, if unspectacular. Cutler can be great or terrible. I'm hoping Cutler gets some protection this year to really see the numbers he can put up in Martz's offense.
Posted Tuesday May 24, 2011, About: Gibson: Fan targeted Noah
"The fan did his job"? Come on now. The 2 fouls took Noah out of his rhythm for the game. Bosh, Anthony, and Haslem took him out of his game. Some idiot fan yelling at him had nothing to do with it. But with that attitude, you can see why fan behavior doesn't improve. Because when fans get props for getting a reaction, they will just keep going until they find the magic words to get the reaction from the player. Sad state of affairs if this is really the way fans think nowadays.
Posted Tuesday May 24, 2011, About: Gibson: Fan targeted Noah
Why wouldn't the other fans in the section point out this fan? So, Noah is supposed to find security during a game to complain about an abusive fan? Lets be real here. Fans need to have some self-control as well.
Posted Tuesday May 10, 2011, About: Bulls getting heavy on Rose's back
The Bulls need a #2 guard that can create his own shot. The bulls have 1 guy, Rose, that can create his own shot any time. All of the other players need to be set up for their shot. In the playoffs, the Bulls are running more half court offense, so creating your own shot is a must.
Posted Thursday April 21, 2011, About: Franklin blasts Cards fans: MLB's best? 'Yeah, right'
Every team has great fans and every team has not-so-great fans. So the "who has the best fans" is a very subjective question. I will say that St. Louis fans are the one fan base the consistently boasts that they are the best in baseball, which, again, is impossible to "prove".
Posted Thursday April 21, 2011, About: Franklin blasts Cards fans: MLB's best? 'Yeah, right'
Just because Cardinal fans (and Joe Buck) say it, doesn't make it true. Not too bad for a village though.
